I haven't looked too much into Lazio. But Juve just lost Chiellini and De Ligt. Chiesa only god knows if he's still a professional football player. They lost Dybala who many here think is a star player we shouldn't have missed out.

Inter lost Perisic and are about to loose Skriniar (is it official yet?), their two MVPs of last season. And they still need to sell one between Sanchez, Correa and Dzeko to balance the books.

Roma lost Mkhitaryan and Oliveira.

To me it looks like all our rivals are doing rather lateral moves between players who left and players who arrived than actual improvements. At least so far. Mercato is open until 1st of September. But as of today, I don't see one of them much improved TBH.

The only way forward for Zaniolo to develop is him transitioning into CF.

It's a long long shot - after all he scores what he scores - but the frame, technique, acceleration is there.

Otherwise another talent that never flew too high, which is becoming frustrating for calcio.
