Lol, how's leao is THE problem? At best he's only part of the problem, and pioli himself is a way bigger part of the problem than leao
Would you consider putting the letter E in front of your username

Tbh i am pissed pioli did not try different approaches until now. If he did and nothing went right so be it. But when he let things get out of control the pressure is now even more immense. Biggest game of our season is tonight. We cannot lose. Simple as that, and i think he knows that this is it after the fiasco of the last month. I think if we lose big he is out.

Another proof that good football is all about patterns, right movement and releasing the ball on time. According to RnB, though, you need Kroos, KDB and Salah to play like this, therefore Pioli is not guilty for the garbage football we play, but the players.

This team has won Scudetto and even before that it was constantly 1st or 2nd in the league. I don't believe that we suddenly find out now that this last month is our normal level and the almost 3 years before that the exception.

This right now definitely is mostly on Pioli.

8g/9a in 17 is crazy. Leao won MVP last season on 11g/10a in 34.

Napoli have always been much more lethal upfront than us the last decade, bar maybe a season or two. They typically put out good numbers, but the kid is pretty insane. Too bad we were linked but have Leao. If he was RW... 🤤

We were 2nd before the scudetto, and we were closer to 4th place than 1st so we were definitely just trying to reach CL and not like we had a chance for Scudetto. Before that, we were 6th. Constantly 1st or 2nd is a reach.

Hey guys

hey

we should have not signed ronaldinho
We should have signed Maradona's ghost to be on our side instead of Napoli/Argentina :head:

To be fair he tried a 3-5-2 against Torino from the start and some 3-5-2/4-3-1-2 patterns within his 4-2-3-1 last game.

Also in the game were Adli startet we played more of a 4-3-3.

But yeah now it becomes quite erratic.

He has speed, touch, and eye for the goal.
Should've been enough

Biggest game is against Spurs. A loss tonight would mean that we are 2 points (worst case scenario) away from top 4 with 17 games left to play. Scudetto is officially gone, so top 4 is our only objective. And we need to beat 2 of Roma, Lazio and Atalanta. If we can't do it, not only Pioli, but Maldini, Massara and every other person involved in the decision making of the club during the past 2 years should be kicked out.
The tie against Spurs, however, could change the whole season. In the 1/4 finals there will be some beatable teams. A semi final is an actual possibility if we start playing football.

Totally agree. It shows in any job a dangerous spiral is so easy to go down under.

Bad decisions, stubbornish and finally arrogance can lead to situations that slowly turn into a tsunami of bad results.

Pioli started this spiral firstly not integrating new players and fixing the medical problem. In turn this has led to a lack of adaptability in the team and finally the January run of form. It shows that we all need adapt and take nothing for granted.

Today is the day it seems he is changing, i dont know if its too late. But it has definitely taken the shine off what he achieved last season.

In reality after a whole year under Pioli's revolutionary player management he receive a total of 12 minutes. And then Maldini shamelessly says that this is a youth project.

I think he meant over the 3yr period but yeah we were damn close to missing out on CL that season.

True so far. Obviously there are a lot of games to play. If we manage to win like this and continue into the form into the torino game anything can happen with spurs.

His Primavera goals were more difficult.

Lets just see how he goes and hope he develops well.

Shame lazetic never had a real opportunity. He played well for serbia youth and again scored. He was available but never played. We cant judge any of these players until they play. If someone knows they dont have the faith of coach its hard to do much after.

We concede 12 in 3 games, looking horrendous and awful defensively.

Pioli changes the team to make it more compact and defensive...

Everyone - "Fire this man, is he brain dead?"

I would play Leao over Origi but make it make sense.
This conclusion.. Mind you the match hasn’t even started

Osimhen with 16goals and 3 assists is even more crazier.

If leao had osimhen instead of that tree he would obviously have more assists AND goals

I’d probably agree with Pioli that outside of the LW, Origi can do more for the team than Leao. Then again it’s crazy to have Leao and not play him on the LW. I really hope the lesson Pioli learned from January was that Leao is the problem.
Huh??
