My support for Tata was last season when he was nowhere near as dire as he has been this time around, so there is nothing to reflect on. Of course he isn't a great keeper even by back-up standards but he did enough, including to help us win a derby last year which was vital.

But I'm sure if you read any of my posts surrounding Tata so far last month, you'd see that I want him gone as much as anyone else. Try harder.

It's 2023. We were on championship rhythm post lockdown 2020, ended the next season 2nd and the subsequent season 1st. Every season has its up and downs, I'm not going to join tiresome "but we were closer to 4th than 1st" debates. In the end the total tally said we were the 2nd best team of the league. Fact. Not the 2nd worst. And until a week ago we were 2nd also this year.

So there we go. It's no reach at all. If you want to be extra nitpicky, then I agree to say in the last 2,5 years.

First of all, it’s not a debate, it’s a fact, you can choose to not look at it and dismiss it as “tiresome” all you want but in the end the total tally also said we were 12 points from first and only 2 points from 5th. This isn't some negative interpretation. We were competing for a CL place nowhere near Scudetto, similar situation we are in now. So i don't see how me pointing that FACT out to point out that your point is not based on reality is "nitpicky".

This team has won Scudetto and even before that it was constantly 1st or 2nd in the league. I don't believe that we suddenly find out now that this last month is our normal level and the almost 3 years before that the exception.

Ok so looking at last 2.5 years. 1 season we barely made CL place and was nowhere near Scudetto, 1 season we won the Scudetto, and now we are again challenging for a CL place with Scudetto nowhere in sight, why is it surprising that this is our "normal" level.

Please don't ask me for beer recommendations, I don't drink it often and I usually don't go to restaurants in Austria. I mostly buy beer when I'm on vacation, local beer.
