Ok and if we don’t, you gonna stop watching?

Bc I’m not

The fans didn't come to games this year to watch Maldini. They came, as always, to watch the team. There will be $0 revenue lost from firing Maldini. Sports fans can have very short attention spans, specially these new ones nowadays.

Listen, we gotta drop the "these guys are idiots" chatter... We are being run by Harvard educated folk.

It doesn't at all mean they're right, but they sure as fuck aren't dumb. And it sure as hell means that an incredible amount of analysis and planning went into the decision.

This was more than a decision, this is monumental. I'm honestly floored, and have no idea if it was the right move.

it's well known i was ALWAYS against maldini in his role, but i was ALWAYS a fan of him being part of the club in some capacity
No, they’re not idiots. They are though interested in themselves and how much money they can make out of our club.

So does Maldini leaving just confirm we're not going to be that ambitious in the summer market? Maldini alone is a trump card. Fucking sucks he's going . Fuck Cardinale
Maldini's market was RLC, Kamada and Arnautovic
not so ambitious

Better start praying, this summer and upcoming season is on you.
I use the same ruler for everyone.

Altho I do not believe Maldini was the answer. I do not agree about the way they parachute these guys. Too American "just business". No cascaded well measured details to the rest of the company. Just shock and awe and installing new folk.

I don't understand....they are saying that 1 of the disagreements was Pioli???? Meaning Maldini wanted to get rid of him and Cardinalshit wants to keep him???
No disagreements, Maldini and Massara were fired for poor results

All the people who complained about the mercato last year have no right to defend Maldini now.
I can still want Maldini to stay & yet call his bad calls.

Going to Harvard means nothing. You don't need to go to Harvard to realize that by doing this you have now increased the level of pressure on your players and your ownership group to perform.

This doesn't seem like the decisions made as a result of planning, quite frankly.

One thing that doesn’t make sense…Moncada is renowned for scouting young talent and as of late Pioli refuses to play them. What gives?

maybe if he doesn't have his boys Diaz, Messias, Saele and Krunic, he will be forced to play them

Those who keep asking “what about Pioli”

You forget Maldini renewed him on a higher salary making him harder or costlier to fire.

If he stinks he will get gone too
Lol. Yeah and firing Maldini is the easier option of the two, totally.

Tare seems like the SD version fo Pioli, so I can definitely see the appeal

Can keep a team relatively competitive while stripping away budget and selling key pieces while replacing with unknowns
would still prefer giuntoli, we should pounce on him while the opprotunity is still there (juve being highly linked to him should be a hint)

just imagine with his selling abilities & moncada scouting where we could be

i know this is the internet and everybody is entitled to his/her opinion regardless how stupid it may be, but if you guys really think redshit fired maldini because the want the best for the club after they spend 0 money on the club so far, i really have some business opportunity i would like to offer you, please hit me up with your credit card number and security pin code.

I criticized maldini the most this season, but hell keeping Maldini or these fucks i would choose maldini every day of the week, i'm fucking pissed.

Its not a problem if you have different views. Its also not a problem of going seperate ways.

What is a problem if you have absolutely zero understanding of the sport, club and the culture.

We somehow lost two legends in 24 hours.

No, because I unfortunately got emotionally tied to this club as a child and I can't shake it.

But... you make most of your money off of dirty casuals not morons like me.

They don’t want to continue with him

Pretty easy to understand. But even Pioli is on Maldini, which is the main point

sometimes
although he made some mistakes and miscalculations one thing that i liked with maldini in charge is that he had the right ambitions in mind. he's one of the few people that i trusted knew what this club should be and what it should ultimately be aiming for

i blame his high risk moves on that as well because instead of trying to do baby steps towards becoming a slightly better serie a club he took risks to try and help us become a better european club because he knew these guys would never spend any big money so he had to settle for high risk / high reward
