This was SATURDAY at his press conference... Where he took another steaming shit on Dini and Massara about not signing "intelligent players".

man, this has been brewing.

I should have seen this coming.

If it makes you feel any better

The guy in charge now, Furlani, was campaigning for Milan to sign Dybala on a free over paying for Charles
Oh really

Im sad about Maldini, we can argue all day about good and bad things he did but he made me dream for winning ucl again even if we failed.

Im looking forward for the next season, im really curious how pioli gonna manage players without Ibra and Maldini.

One thing that worries me this project need time so i dont think our top players will wait and im afraid we will sell them.

Maldini once said if a player become better than everyone and we cant compete in a high level we will sell him something like this it was about leao i dont remember the exact words.

I knew someday he will leave but didn't expect to get fired like this.

So lets see how it goes :)

The net spend of Milan, Inter, Napoli, and Juve over the last 4 seasons excluding 2018/19 season:

Milan: -176.19
Inter: -40.58
Napoli: -127.69
Juve: -135.25

Just posting this stat. Make of it what you will.

Need to look at the wages though, we cut down a lot too tbf. I’m not sure how to find that stat though

Net spend on transfers, by it self doesn't mean anything. You have to look at the yearly squad cost. Lukaku's and Dzeko's huge salaries have a bigger impact on the balance sheet than a CDK like transfer. Roma, Inter and Juve made around 200 mil of losses last year. Milan made just 60 mil in losses last year and are supposed to be profitable for this year

In all seriousness, emotion has got the better of us today and rightly so. It was shit move by Redbird. Unfortunately we have no option apart from sucking it up. Time to try and move on. Let's hope these pricks don't completely destroy the club. The next move from them will be so pivotal.

That isn't fair, I think I have explained why I find these choices from Redbird to be worrying. If they had fired Pioli, as well, I would be more inclined towards seeing this from a more "cold blooded" perspective.

However, I have witnessed Pioli mismanage nearly every resource available to him. Think about how he has dealt with injuries and fitness, alone, and how that has hindered this team.

His tactical choices this year have been astoundingly bad.

Redbird now have to perform. If they do, I'll give them their respect, but I have too much experience with corporations to see these choices as signs of competent leadership. What they have done is very risky, and if it works, then you have to tip your hat to them.

The reports emerging paint a picture of Pioli being one of the main issues, and between the two, even if their roles were reversed, I think the micro level of the manager was more concerning than the macro of the SD.

I do not think that Maldini conducted himself in a way that betrayed some corporate line. Maldini gave Redbird credibility by extending with them, and they wanted that credibility, and so in order to get that Maldini had a price. Milan fans then and now preferred Investcorp--I looked at Redbird's actions and preservation of the current leadership as a smart choice.

The narrative being reported is that CDK is the grand mistake, and yet Moncada is the one who was the primary driver of scouting and identifying CDK. Now Moncada is in charge.

If Furlani is the new Galliani and Moncada the new Braida then I will love them and give them their respect. However, their faith in Pioli, to me, calls their judgment into question.

But I am excited to be wrong because that would mean success for Milan. I am not going to be happy with a Tottenham under Levy approach, I want to win and to build towards winning.

I hope that makes sense.
Dude it’s like what you told me about Pioli earlier.

If they can sack Paolo fucking Maldini, they will sack Pioli if he fucks it up.

Right now he’s being kept for diplomatic/relations reasons

AC Milan announces that Paolo Maldini concludes his role at the Club, effective as of June 5, 2023.

We thank him for his years of service in the role, contributing to the return to the Champions League and to winning the Scudetto in 2021/22.

His day-to-day duties will be performed by a team working in close integration with the first team manager, ultimately reporting to the CEO.

you see " First team manager " Not Pioli

Also, if they can sack Paolo fucking Maldini... they can sell our best players in the blink of an eye.

We just signed two GK's with reports of an opening offer of 60m on the table for MM. Obviously, nothing to be concerned about.

I hope in the near future it is De Zerbi they are collaborating with and not the inter supporting snake

Not exactly the same but it’s in red bird, red shit or whatever name we want to call them’s best interest for us to maintain top 4.

If they don’t and pocket the money it will be chump change compared to when our club misses the seasons objectives.

But you are right, nothing to be concerned about

But Theo, Leao and Mike became stars after coming here. The team is always bigger than any single player. We made stars out of them. Theo was a RM reject. Mike was a 26 yr old GK who some still weren’t convinced with. Leao was an inconsistent kid. We can make new stars.

If we sell them at the right price, we can stay competitive with the right scouting and still be profitable.
