Maldini was a PHENOMENAL authority & leadership figure to have at the club and it's no coincidence that we suddenly started winning again following his return. However, he was a HORRIBLE money manager so I can understand why Cardinale decided to fire him. Also, if we're being honest, every SINGLE player (bar Tonali) who we rate at the club was scouted by Moncada e.g. Maignan, Theo, Kalulu, Tomori, Thiaw, Benny, Adli + Leao. His only major fuck up appears to be CDK as we'll still be able to break-even/make a profit on the likes of FBT + Salad who were bought for 5-10m.

Therefore, all things considered, we're in GREAT hands and you can't be right 100% of the time. Also, had we listened to the MF duo last summer, we'd already have Dybala, Enzo + Muani in the squad

Yes last mercato was a disaster and having Enzo, Muani and Dybala would take Milan to a different level most likely.

But there's also the question of Milanello. It lost Maldini and Ibra. If people think that's not a huge problem they are very, very wrong.
