Inter uses 3 CDs at the back. That is more defensive than Milan with 2 CDs.
We still don't have an answer to a 3 5 2. That's been torturing us for the last 10 years.

I'd sell him for less

His release clause has been 50m for literal ages and no one has come close. Clearly, that's well above his value in the market
I guess by then we would have a clear idea of how good our new mids are so the decision would be easier with more inputs.
40mil would get us Luis or Graven.

No necesitamos a un delantero porque estamos muy bien con Giroud.
giroud estaba en el campo luchando durante la segunda guerra mundial

I never thought of the possibility of a Calhanoglu sale by Inter but it makes a ton of sense from a plusvalenza prospective as they got him for free. That would explain why they went for Samardzic though at the moment Hakan is a better player who could easily fetch 40 million in today's mercato. The Cuck's professed love for Inter means nothing but the increased salary in the EPL will make him love his new team even more. Their midfield will look somewhat like ours with no DM but in a 3-5-2 you don't really need one. I still rate our mercato number one with Inter second but these moves confirm the brilliance of Marotta that many here dispute. Inter last season had a horrible beginning but a fantastic finish when they were clearly the best team in the league but I think overall they will be weaker but still good enough to finish top four.

Yeah, RLC and Musah are meh transfers so far, I think one of them was enough. Preferably Musah because he is younger and with more potential, where I would invest the other 20 million on another player.

But yes, I also hope I'm wrong. And that Moncada knows why he brought those players.

I don't agree. Sure he has looked good in some matches, but mainly because Pioli needed to switch formations after an excruciating losing streak. We were more balanced with a three man mid, but I don't think that Krunic as a player had much to do with it.

Krunic doesn't excel in anything. He isn't a great passer, he isn't a good dribbler, his defensive contributions aren't fantastic, he doesn't have great vision. He's a handy man. We can use him from the bench, but I just don't trust him as our regista.

That.
He’s Pioli’s “at least we ain’t bleeding anymore” man. The default setting when things ain’t going right.

And I’m 63% sure we’ll have to resort to the “factory settings” within 2 months into the season. Because the profiles he’ll field in the middle won’t give the expected satisfaction as a unit.

Replacing Kjaer with a really good CB would raise the level of the team.
With Gabbia also gone we might need two new CBs and I hope Simic is one and the other a little more experienced and good back-up.

Sometimes I really hate the fact that we have a coach who wants physical players in the middle and who wants to implement that style of football, who are unfamiliar with the creation and passing game. Just disgusting physical football. :o

I want more Adli's or Tijjani's. Maybe one day, with other coach.

I don't know, last passing era of football (barca/spain era) was pretty disgusting and boring, I rather see bulldozers to be honest and it is more up to date.

Extra CD does the job of a defensive mid...
The extra CB being Darmian? lol

Inter has a better midfield than Milan and are superior tactically but calling them more defensive or better defensively is funny

Out of all our transfer RLC is the one I was not crazy about. With his size he should be a destroyer and more capable defensively but from watching him so far he doesn't really use his physicality enough.

3-5-2 is generally a more defensive, counter attacking formation as compared to 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1...

The funny thing is folks here complain about losing Tonali+Bennacer and only Krunic hanging around

Yet Krunic was better than both defensively last season :proud:
Ok and? He is still absolutely garbage

The shit I find hilarious is people were licking his balls when this same football won the Scudetto

but now that the cockroach outlasted Maldini and Tonali they're over it

and I say this as someone who has always despised Pioli

I have to give it to negativity squad, Musah is on paper a weird pick after RLC and Reijnders.

Let's hope the scouting is good and that he is moldable into a DM. RLC and Tijj for sure won't be.

Would absolutely LOVE it if Donnarumma signed for Juve and then howled himself out of existence in the first game vs us at San Siro.

It's strange that none of the big clubs have shown interest in him yet, if he were so good Mocanda would be all over him
He is a 24 year old danish dude playing for Lecce. And he ain’t the flashy type of offensive player generating goals and lots of assists, so I can see why he might be overlooked.

But I promise you that he is exactly what a lot of people in this forum are screaming for. Absolutely amazing at what he does, defensively (interceptions, tackling and ground-duels).

A Lecce-guy commented on one of his videos, that he couldn’t believe how many times Hjulmand saved their butt.

Defenitely, he just picks up too many injuries and that will only get worse from now on. It is not like he will be a great help for most of the season anyway, so we might as well go through with it now/in winter.

8: Musah: 3/10, for the rumoured price, he is a really bad deal, and one that I think will flop for us. He seems like a marketing move, and american Bertolacci. He is still 20, so has plenty of room to improve, but currently he is a worse player than Pobega.

How many games over 90 minutes have you seen from Musah in the last two years?

Just a question so that we can assess how well-founded your evaluation is.

Amazing how we’ve spent all this money and Krunic (4th choice midfielder, debatable even 5th choice) is going to be starting DM next season.

EXC- Besiktas has offered 1 million to AC Milan for Messias, the request is 3 million. Raise expected @cmdotcom
That's pathetic. Grazie Maldini'.

Only broke ass Turkish clubs are worse than broke ass Italian clubs.

Too bad we're the only club where our players don't want to go to Saudi league... Origi, Messias, Rebic. :(
