It’s run by incompetent fools.

However it’s also the only Milan page that is essentially active and post news all the time.

MilanEye just post important news but Milanpost has everything from press conference to daily news, also Gazaetta and interviews.

I wanted Thiaw there actually tbh.

Then we could just buy a proper CB to partner with Tomori.

Though Thiaw as a CB is also very good
Before Kalulu dipped I thought he was our new Kaladze being able to play fullback, mid and stopper

Gabbia was good today and has looked way more assured than before his loan.

If he remains at this level then I wouldn't mind him as the last backup. Would be good for squad lists too.
He owned lukaku today.

Is it fair to say Adli has a higher ceiling than CDK now? Passing and technique are better for sure I’d say
CDK over Adli is what started my dislike of Pioli.
After 10+10 was gone, we could not get Vlasic, so we reserved this guy who was one of Europe’s most creative youngsters. For me, Not just youngsters, but player overall.
The type of player that would make the whole team run smoother.
Tailor made AM for our 4231 at the time (I don’t even know what’s our formation these days…it’s all over the place)

And it wasn’t systematic dislike. But insisting with that shit was baffling (well not anymore, now I know nothing is too stupid for Pioli not to do) … that was the first display of his disgusting stubbornness. Followed by many more headscratching moves.

I used to say “time will impose Adli”, and I meant during last season…thinking after Pioli realizes that CDK is not an AM, and not what the teams needs at this position he’ll give the boy his chance. And maybe for a team that so severely lacks structured creativy…a creative/playmaking AM could, just “could” be a solution.
This dude tried EVERYBODY ant AM but Adli. He even changed formation, just to not give the kid a chance.
And this was after the boy was the revelation of preseason.
I remember a tweet or post on their forum from an inter fan saying at preseason “should we start worrying about this Adli kid now?”

And actually, Pioli STILL hasn’t realized that. This kid and Reijnders if unleashed to use their playmaking abilities to run the show, this team will be scary. The team has everything, power, speed, strength, dribbling…athleticism that if combined with playmaking in a cohesive and coherent tactical scheme will explode.
The fucked up thing is we DO have those playmakers, of great level too… but Pioli 🤷‍♂️

Adli 6'2
Rlc 6'3
reijndeers 6'1

I like that. We can have chucky or Benny for the short boy quota fetish that pioli has.

Happy for the win. Also I liked our rather conservative approach especially in the 1st half, knowing we couldn't sustain a crazy high line for 90 minutes. For once we looked like we could keep our pace for 90 minutes.

On the other hand it must be said that Roma usually is not a team with intense rhythm, like Atalanta on his day for example, which is what we suffer the most.

I didn't dare to write it because I feared I'd jinx it, but the known scout and match analyst Luca Diddi already predicted mid-week in Pellegattis video that Roma is an opponent that suits us and that he expects us to look good against them. There are other teams he fears more, especially knowing against teams with high rhythms we don't last more than an hour.

Anyway, this is not the moment to downplay this win. It's still Roma after all and we gave a good response to the Coppa exit. On we march.
Might have been a different game with Dybala in the pitch.

I also did not want to downplay this win, but Roma were genuinely awful.

Atalanta are an example of a team that combines great structure with high intensity, which makes it difficult for us to find space both in the build up phase and in the attacking third.

Then you have your Genoa / Verona types that have troubled us simply with a low block, where we struggle to manipulate the movement of defenders to create chances.

But Roma played right into our hands. They tried to press but were not compact and did not do it in numbers, nor with good timing. Reijnders / Adli and co found it very easy to combine and always find the open pass. Tbh, if we wanted to we could have just kept the ball after 2-0 (which is what I was hoping we would do).

There was a period for about 10 minutes or so where Roma had some momentum after the penalty. If I had any criticism of this game (as it seems to be the case quite often), it was the lack of maturity to control the game when we have a lead. After their goal I recall the commentator saying something like "Milan's best bet may be to try and go and score again" because we looked a bit frazzled. It is true, and Theo sealed it as such, but it shouldn't always have to be. This side needs to learn how to slow it down and turn it into a boring game.

Anyway, in the end it was a good win and very well deserved. The buffer is solid and we should really be trying our hearts out for Europa League. No reason not to at this stage.

Hello no.

I need them for news and press conference. I ain’t watching Pioli’s press conference live on video are you mad.

This site is the only that posts them in writing format.

They also do the same for other interviews that I ain’t interesting in listening but want to read.

I just need them to be run by more competent people.

Leave Rafa alone. The players and the roles: there is always a truth. Thiaw, Tomori and the defender market. Pietro Mazzarra @ MilanNews

Stefano Pioli is José Mourinho's cryptonite. In six matches, the Milan coach has never lost against the Portuguese (since the two sat on their current benches) and last night's 3-1 has put the bugaboos of last year's 2-2 to bed . Because after Paredes' goal, everyone had that situation in mind. There is no point in denying it, because the ghosts have revealed themselves even if this Rome is not the same as that of January 2023 and Milan is not the same either.

After the match, yet another questionable game of massacre against Rafael Leao started in the TV lounges. There is a truth that is given by the numbers, namely that the Portuguese has not scored in the league since 23 September, he has not shot on target since 29 October and his contribution in terms of goals - without forgetting that he was out for a month due to injury – is lower than what could legitimately be expected. But behind this aspect, there is also the second, which is not so secondary. Leao is and remains the strongest player in the squad. His time will come, Milan finally has the chance to turn right with Christian Pulisic, but when things get complicated, the score is always the same: ball to Rafa and let's hope for the best. Leao is a unique player, he is neither sad nor gloomy. He just needs to fuel up, play and find winning plays. At the end of the year we will take stock, as for everyone, but keep in mind that Rafa performs better on the return days than on the first days. He knows well when criticism is deserved and when it is gratuitous. He smiles when he reads certain comments or stances that are too clear, he accumulates and works, knowing that he has a fan base behind him who adores him, but that doesn't mean he rests on his laurels. He wants to be decisive and soon he will be.

I've never been a fan of moving and re-adjusting players to other roles. Theo Hernandez's example is the most obvious and fitting one, without bothering Tommaso Pobega as the left hand in the three-man defense against Monza. Well, it is no coincidence that against Roma, with the return of all the players to the positions most suited to them, we saw a more confident and decisive Milan. No, it's not a coincidence. I didn't like some of Pioli's choices, even recent ones, especially with regards to the central defenders. In a championship where Milan, for now, is not in the Scudetto fight and is sailing to consolidate third place, I would have expected a greater presence of Jan-Carlo Simic like, for example, in Empoli where he could have done his part. Maybe he won't have a polite foot and he won't even be a giant, but the boy has a strong sense of positioning and marking, he's a tough, granitic guy who can provide certainties against medium-low ranking opponents.

The defense market is the one that holds the most attention at Milan, but we look carefully at how to move. Alessandro Buongiorno is a profile that is very popular at the Rossoneri, but if Torino are not open to the sale for a total figure lower than 30 million, then we will talk about it again in the summer. Without forgetting that Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori will be available again within three-four weeks. The German is the one most advanced in the return phase, then Fik will follow and, lastly, Pierre Kalulu. Therefore it is logical and legitimate that the management also evaluates the numerical aspect of the central defenders available to Pioli. If the conditions are right, then action will be taken.

It will be really exciting to see Adli, Bennacer and Reijnders together in midfield.

That hasn't happened before has it?

I know RLCs stock is low in here these days, but I think he will be a very valuable player for us this season and beyond. Just look to his performance against PSG, that may have been the best of a Milan player all season. With that being said he should be held to higher standards by the coach, his performances are too inconsistent. But the various psychological defects that get attributed to him in here I think are exaggerated.

Can’t hate on Gerry. He gave us a decent mercato budget and has focussed on the youth sector. Massive steps forward on the stadium.

Its not his fault that Furlani decided to keep Pioli

I think it’s because he’s good at defending corners and set pieces. He blocked a dangerous free kick with his beautiful head and cleared a corner a few minutes later.

That’s the conclusion I’ve reached.
RLC is higher I think, but Damn that guy don't know HO to use his physically advantage Wether in defense nor in attack

what pedulla told last night is that we are going to sell alot primavera players already establised like colombo pobega gabbia
Colombo and pobega should be sold. Not milan level, average at best. We could get good money from them.

Gabbia played well last night. He could be a good backup. Maybe loan him to a serie a team like genoa
