This is getting out of control already
I 100% support the idea of Marotta league. It's written in stone. But in this incident, tbf, it looks more like the Immobile is leaning heavily into Acerbi, especially at the end of his run when he nears the groundline and recognizes he has no chance anymore to get to the ball. Yes, Acerbi uses his arms, so does Immobile IMO. From this perspective alone, I don't recognize Acerbi really
pulling Immobile down but it looks more like Immobile is just pushing and pushing and leaning in until he lets himself fall, looking for a cheap pen. IMO, it's a very cheap move actually.
But that's from this perspective alone. Maybe anotherone shows something completely different.
EDIT:
Looking at it again, slowly, it's really only in that 1st second of the clip in slow-mo where you see Acerbis hand actually on Immobiles shoulder, maybe pushing a little bit. If Immobile let himself fall there, it would still be a cheap pen, but by the books, you couldn't blame the ref if he gave it. However, everything that follows after, really just looks like Immobile is leaning into Acerbi until he lets himself fall to the ground.
