Did you see a motivated Milan against Rennes and Slavia? Did they seem like players who absolutely wanted to win the cup? Look at Roma in the championship and look at them in the cup: these are people who care! Mindset is everything in sport!
Hope Conte comes and teaches these pussies a life lesson
Exactly! :flame:PioliOut!!!!

AS Roma: When their tactic is working, their players are happy winning and their players are fighting because they believe in winning the Europa League.

AC Milan: When our tactic is not working, our team kept losing, our players are discouraged and they don't believe in winning the Europa League.

Okay, serious question. Who should be the next coach?

My pick is Conte, after witnessing how unserious, unmotivated and confused the whole team were in both legs against Roma. I think we really need a tough manager with proven track record.

We need a coach that fix the defence. It is a miracle that we are second given how many goals we conceded. We will find our way to score goals and even more with a better CF than Giroud but we can't score 2 or 3 every fucking game specially in Italy

Is it though???
Yes defence I guess. Sorry of
Keeper is about the same

Midfield slight edge maybe to us

Attack theirs is comfortably better thanks to gshit
As most fan bases we tend to over-rate our players and under-rate the opponents. Roma has a very good squad that was ruined by Mou and now playing to their level under De Rossi. BTW, how about that passion? Pioli just stands there without a clue while nobody respects him or is afraid of him. As for individual players, in midfield Pellegrini is better than anyone we got and Parades is probably the best regista in Serie A. Defensively Mancini and Smalling are tops, even though we hate Mancini he scores goals and is all over the pitch. Up front Dybala and Lukaku are very productive and we should have signed the Argentine when he was available, even though he misses games. He's more talented than any of our players, IMO, and doesn't suck in big matches. Even their young keeper is awesome and El Sha has more heart than all our spoiled and lazy players combined.

A team without an idea, a goal and motivation so that the players do not declare there in pre-match interviews. All the work of the coaching staff is reduced to exploiting the individual qualities of the players, this is enough to beat 80% of their rivals and stay in the Champions League zone. If Pioli had been placed in conditional Lazio or Fiorentina now, he would have walked in his rightful 6-7-8 place without any problems and would not have shone in the headlines. The players see all this perfectly and try to find some connections during the game, but it's all so raw and unconvincing that even de Rossi, who is starting his coaching career, cut off our oxygen without any problems in both matches

The team needs a total rebranding and not only on the coaching bench. Calabria, Bennacer, Loftus-Cheek, Giroux and Thiaw must be sold immediately. If there is an offer with a good amount, I would also think about Leao

Both games with Roma was kind of a strange . He assembled a squad with players which can play like Real against CIty - carrying the ball , fast and using the famous dribbling for running forward , but use them to try play like a City instead - with endless passing which should open spaces between the opponent team players . As a result Roma players does not need to do anything except to stay compact , close to each other , even stationary and we can not do anything , because there is no space for our players to do what they are good for . I think that is why we look lost , without to know what to do . Which of course is fault of the players , not his .

Come on, he just won the scudetto and everyone here was sucking him real hard. Everyone sang 'Pioli is on fire.'

When he signs an extension no one complain, but now that he screwed up you blame Maldini. How fair is that?

True. Here's me celebrating and sucking him real hard just a few days after the extension

I think it was myself and @theduck7 that had a conversation a bit back about the lack of fight, heart, dog, in the team...

Everyone is comfortable, everything is ok... As long as we make top 4. That's literally been upper managements mantra, openly.

If that's the goal, why are the players going to go that extra mile when it matters?

Like tonight, or coppa Italia?

We've made things way too comfortable for everyone.

We are being beaten by teams that have more heart than us, are better set up, rather than teams being better man for man most of the time.
Absolutely and I mentioned this again last night in the match thread. It sounds like a cliche but this team cannot suffer pressure and there is no one who puts their face infront of a ball to block it-we don't have players like that. U see Spinnazola clear one off the line with his back or something last night how often do our guys do that kind of thing? Did you see how lazy Gabbia's clearance was for one of the goals? I mean look at the way De Rossi conducts himself on the sidelines he's so animated compared to Pioli and again it's not always a good thing to be that way but I only ever see Pioli one way surely this somehow rubs off on the players?

If not Conte I would go for Sarri.

I do not know which is better than Sarri, Conte or someone else. Honestly, I don't know, every coach has his own strengths and weaknesses. But what I know for sure is that you have to say goodbye to Pioli

A bit frustrating to see Zeroli & Barthesaghi being on the bench yesterday, when we've got an important Youth League SF game vs Porto today.

So who will be the next coach? Any ideas? Conte? Iwas against him, but seeing our performance I think he could be the one to get this team on a higher tactical level. Other options I am not sure. Motta to Juve, to bad, cause he had my preference. Anyone else?

Forgot about Sarri, his football suits Milan..

i prefere Sarriball

Thiaw was not playing last night . As for Giroud , it is not his fault that he is overplayed because on his age he is send to play every game from the beginning . He is not 20 years old , so the only way for him to play all those games is probably with the way he is playing . It is physically very hard for him .

Can see Motta and the gang staying at Bologna if they can grab that new 5th CL spot. Feel sorry for Ferguson though

Frankly, I've got no idea tbh. Surely one of Conte, Potter, Lopetegui, Abate, Coincecao, Sarri or Fonseca. Heck, even Pioli for another season. Just hedging my bets here, but I'd be surprised if the new manager were not to be one of those aforementioned. Those options range from economically unfeasible to a question of ambition. I'd probably lose money if I were to bet on our next manager.
