Okay, serious question. Who should be the next coach?

My pick is Conte, after witnessing how unserious, unmotivated and confused the whole team were in both legs against Roma. I think we really need a tough manager with proven track record.

Frankly, I've got no idea tbh. Surely one of Conte, Potter, Lopetegui, Abate, Coincecao, Sarri or Fonseca. Heck, even Pioli for another season. Just hedging my bets here, but I'd be surprised if the new manager were not to be one of those aforementioned. Those options range from economically unfeasible to a question of ambition. I'd probably lose money if I were to bet on our next manager.

As most fan bases we tend to over-rate our players and under-rate the opponents. Roma has a very good squad that was ruined by Mou and now playing to their level under De Rossi. BTW, how about that passion? Pioli just stands there without a clue while nobody respects him or is afraid of him. As for individual players, in midfield Pellegrini is better than anyone we got and Parades is probably the best regista in Serie A. Defensively Mancini and Smalling are tops, even though we hate Mancini he scores goals and is all over the pitch. Up front Dybala and Lukaku are very productive and we should have signed the Argentine when he was available, even though he misses games. He's more talented than any of our players, IMO, and doesn't suck in big matches. Even their young keeper is awesome and El Sha has more heart than all our spoiled and lazy players combined.

I genuinely always believed roma had a more balanced squad than us. Its not just about beting better. You need a balanced team. We aren't balanced. Roma beat us.

People are severely underrating how good roma is. They have a top 3 squad. Just ruined by your like you said.

At full strength they clearly were the better team and they won.

Rnbers many are dumb as fuck. They have idea about team composition. So I am not surprised.

Thiaw is very limited in working with the ball. Any new coach, unless it's Capello, will look for an alternative. This is modern football

How often do we play through the center, through the heart of our opponents defense? A ball in-between the defensive lines? Shots on target from outside the big box? Literally non-existent. Our game relies on bad crosses and that's basically it. It must be shockingly easy to play against us. Clip our wings and we're done.

I personally don’t like Conte or his style of football but I’ll take him given the current scenario. Leao and Theo need a kick up their backside.

3-4-3 suits our team well. But guys like RLC and Adli probably won’t fit the system. Adli is just too unathletic to play in a 2 man midfield.

This is my Spring Festivus airing of grievances:
I've been a fan of AC Milan since forever, a club that has given me joy and pain but it's becoming increasingly more difficult to support them because there's much I don't approve of these days. Okay, I will continue to root for the jersey because it's in my DNA and also a masochist because I keep watching until the final whistle even when we suck.
We are a team run by amateurs, unqualified people put in roles that have no prior experience just because of their names. Give me someone like Sartori who has performed miracles both at Atalanta and now Bologna, or Tare who had success working for a maniac like Lolito. Out of current management I would keep only Moncada while Furlani and Scaroni, don't know much about the sport. And who the fvck is D'Ottavio? Don't even know what he looks like. Ibra is another one who doesn't deserve his current position: he's a narcisist who brags a lot but was absent from the pitch more often than not. How do we know he's a good talent evaluator?
Our management sucks, our coach sucks, many of our players suck, and our owner who takes advice from a former baseball executivesucks. Our level of suckitude has been amply demonstrated in the derbies and these Roma matches.
Also I wish we had more Italians on the squad and I disagree that there aren't any good ones. That's true for attackers but there are plenty of good goalies, defenders, and midfielders, and we have a long tradition of fantastic Italian players while I criticized Inter for being a club full of foreigners. Now the situation is reveresed as our cousins start Barella, Acerbi, Bastoni, Di Marco, Darmian, and have Frattesi and Aslani on the bench.
I know most of you could care less but as a native Italian it matters to me and now it feels like I'm supporting a french/Spanish club while Milan has zero players in the national team. In 1994 I attended Italy-Nigeria at Foxboro stadium won 2-1 with 2 goals by Baggio. In the final lost to Brazil on penalties we started: Maldini, Costacurta, Baresi, Donadoni, Albertini, and Massaro with Tassotti and Evani on the bench. That's 8 Milan players. And I don't care about the stupid growth decree because that doesn't seem to bother Inter and Juve.
Anyway, this is my rant after yesterday's debacle which really pissed me off.

I don't care how he dresses or that he's a slob that smokes too much. His results speak for themselves. Won at Empoli, Napoli, Chelsea, got Juve's last scudetto, and finished second with an inferior Lazio squad. He would be my 3rd choice after Motta and Conte, ahead of Italiano, Palladino, et al. I absolutely don't want a foreign coach, we have too many foreigners already in all sectors of the club.

• Non-Italian or have reasonable head of hair (can be fake)
• Play attractive football or score 100+ goals/season
• Must be willing to bench/sell Calabria and hand armband to Theo
• Must be willing to play youth and then actually give them more minutes (i.e. Simic)
• Has serial winner mentality
