Xavi would check the boxes. His use of young players has probably been his best asset at Barca

Not the best choice, his Barca has been inconsistent but we'll see. He's most linked to Ajax I believe

Isn't the thing with him that Barca desperately want him to stay, but that he might take a break from coaching altogether?

Didn't think he was on the market for other clubs.

To be fair, Xavi would have better conditions with us than at Barca. It's a complete shitshow there and in "parametri zero" mode.

Given the circumstances, he gets a lot out of it, integrates a lot of young players who click straight away.

He can bring Cubarsi with him directly. :D Besides, it was said last year that he really wanted Reijnders last summer.

Isn't the thing with him that Barca desperately want him to stay, but that he might take a break from coaching altogether?

Didn't think he was on the market for other clubs.

He wanted to calm the waters and face the end of the season without the extra tension and uncertainty. He felt the club needed a change and the best thing to do was to make it clear that he would be leaving.

But there was also another reason. According to sources close to Xavi, he was fed up. The toxicity of being in the Barca environment not only affected his mood but also had consequences for his closest family.

I would like to clarify the facts once and for all: RedBird is the controlling shareholder of 99.93% of AC Milan; the remaining 0.07% is made up of individual Italian investors who are long-time fans of the club". Then a clarification also on the role of the New York Yankees: "I have also asked the New York Yankees to invest a small minority share together with RedBird as part of our overall investment, given the strong 25-year partnership I have with them"

"Elliott provided a loan to RedBird with a three-year term and zero governance rights. This loan is no different to any other third-party financing we could have obtained, with the added benefit that Elliott brought a track record of improving AC Milan prior to our acquisition"

"I have just arrived and I have no intention of selling Milan. My goal is to build a solid and winning reality. Why should I give up ownership? There are no talks with any investor who could obtain control or governance of Milan."

"We are in second place. And we will never stop aiming to win"

“Sports is one of the fundamental elements of my platform idea. Our portfolio of sports activities represents a total value of 30 billion dollars, of which 5 billion dollars of value for the companies we have created. I believe in the model of ' public private partnership', which is based on the union between communities and between those who have money and those who don't. The case of Milan is perfect There is the ownership, which is RedBird. There is the fan community and there is the city."

Zhang is going to receive 400 million from Pimco on loan he will have to pay them back after three years
Calcio e Finanza writes the interest rate on this loan will be higher than the 12% of the previous one with Oaktree

Of course it will be. They're kicking the can down the road. Zhang is digging a much deeper hole for himself and for Inter, just to keep holding on and hoping for a better day. The problem is that in a sporting perspective, they're at their peak. CL final, and dominating this season in Serie A. It simply can't get any better. Sure they'll get the windfall from the world cup, but they need to keep cutting costs and need to generate enough revenue from player sales to reduce the loss to an acceptable level for FFP.

A sale or a transfer to Oaktree would have been the best option for Inter. Zhang keeping control means no major changes.

On the surface this looks scary, since they're doing so well on the pitch, but it also means the rot behind that facade will keep getting worse and worse and eventually it will come tumbling down.

Lamenting over Motta is so FOMO
No, he and RDZ are the best options for us. I have said the same months ago even before his supposed agreement with Juve .

Yeah, I am largely with you guys on Conceicao. For me he would be way better than Fonseca, for example. He gets the job done.

But I wait for better, concrete names. Unai would be an awesome signing.
Is he not like the most in demand non-big name at the moment? All reliable sources said Liverpool are going all in for him, he also has a high clause too

The main question is which are those " reliable " sources and how reliable they are .

Lopetegui to Milan reminds me of Adama Traore to Milan last summer. Do you remember? DO YOU REMEMBER?

... and now think of the agent: Both with Mendes. :)
According to Moretto, Mendes is not Lopetegui’s agent.

All of this feels like déjà vu from 2015 when Gazzetta couldn't stop buzzing about a three-way showdown between Conte, Emery and Ancelotti. Then, enter a curveball in Pippo Inzaghi ... :winkani:

I have the same feeling about Gallardo.

Also Xavi tbf. The crap environment he has been working in and what he has delivered is good. Only his crybaby Barca attitude annoyes me.

A loss vs Inter wont change much for our season but it could be the kiss of death for Pioli so i dont mind it.
Thanks Pioli & good luck but Milan need a fresher coach.

The difference is that the conditions are completely different. Back then, we were always close to insolvency, Inzaghi had NOTHING to show for it and we were a completely unprofessional and haphazardly managed club.

It's ALL different now.
