May get accused of racism by the few Bennacer fans when he greenlights his sale/benches him.
I think the forum has finally been cleansed of Bennacer and Pioli fans

Can’t imagine there are any left

Check how much money you earn from finishing 2nd in La Liga.
Nowhere near as lucrative as getting into the UCL semi's.
La Liga finances have the same structural problem as Serie A.
Just "prestige" won't earn you sponsorships if your club is doing poorly.
Milan's finances were down in the dumps for the last 10 to 15ish years because our results were dogshit.
They didn't pick up until the Elliot years.

Your skepticism is valid, but just because they kicked the can down the road by 3 years doesn't mean it's over.
Loans need to be paid, with compound interest at that. Can't help you if you're so short-sighted.

Barca don't rely as much on CL money for their revenues as Milan does. Barca has yearly revenues of around 700-800 mil!! They sold a part of that revenue for the next 20 years. But even after they give up the revenue they sold it's still probably over 600 mil which is super high.

They still have to be in the CL every year to keep their brand strong and keep the revenues up, but the CL prize money is just a small portion of their total revenue.

Their earnings from matchday has plateaued, no way to fit any more fans into the stadium even if they wanted to.
Broadcasting revenues will go down next year because of the new TV deal in place until 2029 or something stupid like that.
This deal represents a 2.95% decrease in overall revenue over the current deal we have in place.
So the only thing that "can" grow is Commercial.
Yet even on their best UCL results year last season Commercial revenues shrunk.
I think both our revenues have plateaued. Not much higher to go without player sales or a stadium.

That's what many don't seem to understand. Barcelona missing CL wouldn't be nearly as much of a disaster as us missing it. Such a huge part of our revenues is from CL.

They're roughly on a same trajectory as us. 246, 140, 85 are their losses in the last 3 years. They won't be 0 this year but they're getting there. And their squad costs are decreasing as well.
The 85 was greatly skewed by the CL run. I bet they end this year in 100m+ in the red

By the same standard, Merda missing the UCL would be absolutely disastrous.
All it takes is one bad mercato or a rapidly declining bench.
We all saw what that did to us last year. Set us back a full season, only to be saved by Ladri getting caught breaking the rules.
Merda can end up outside of UCL, it's not that far of a drop, but also not outside the realms of possibility.

Those annual losses are the reason why they're still losing 80m a year even AFTER they've reduced their squad costs significantly and reached a CL final. Look at the sheets I posted, there's really not that big of a difference in the squad costs between us, it's just around 20 or 30m. Their revenue is even higher than ours. What happens once we have San Donato and they're still at San Siro?

Wasn't 50 mil of the 80 mil loss due to debt payments? So it's not part of the clubs operating profit / loss. It's still impacts them but the owners are still keeping a higher cost squad.

RB also has debt costs but they keep it outside of the club so the loss doesn't show up on the club balance sheet. In the end Inter is spending more per year through their higher squad costs and their owners have been ok with it.

Inter is fucked and on their way to the banter era. Thinking otherwise is delusional.

Barca is fine? They’re struggling with mediocrity after sabotaging their future

What do you mean ???

Last year he was the hottest thing, playing for Germany and starting for Milan. Most everyone had dropped Kalulu and projected Thiaw to be the next great CB.
Now many are ready to get him out after a dreadful season.

I think only Rossoneri (Our Ivorian brother) called it before the season started.

I come back to 9 unread pages and instead of white smoke on a new coach it’s a dick measuring contest on perceived understanding of Inter’s finances

Back on topic please

Of course. This is the for all Italian teams. Revenues in Italy are falling further behind year after year.

honestly my only disappointment this season was Tomori not fit/suspended too many times. He was on a heater for a stretch.

I mean at one point it looked like a genius move but now looking back maybe it was an instance where we were too hard on Pioli and him not playing Thiaw earlier was best.

Pioli is still an idiot for not adjusting his setup in matches but Thiaw really was woeful this season, making the same mistake over and over. He constantly overestimated his pace and then seemed shocked when he got caught out.

I still would like to give him and Kalulu another chance under a different manager unless we plan to use Simic and not send him on loan. Kjaer needs to accompany Pioli to the airport.

This is where, shockingly given your propensity for unrestrained optimism, you have always underestimated or haven’t fully grasped Milan’s potential.

Even taking the stadium out of the equation, Milan is still a substantially underperforming asset. Revenue wise we have been the sleeping/dormant dragon in Europe since Berlusconi and Galliani entered senility. There was a time when Milan’s revenue was top 3 in the world. I don’t think we can reach that level any time soon, but our potential is levels above Inter and Juventus because we are the only club in Italy that has true global marketing potential.

We missed out on the dawn of the social media age, but I guarantee you when we start consistently making semi-finals, dominating Serie A, and hopefully return as European champions our revenue will fucking explode. “Lifelong AC” habibi, American, Indian, and Chinese fans will come out of the woodwork.

THAT was the biggest failure this season. We built a ton of momentum last season with that CL SF run and we pissed the momentum away AND missed out on the Club World Cup.

Regardless, a quality manager will get us back into the CL Round of 16 next season and we go again.

Pioli plays lot of youngsters most for a Milan coach except miha.

Thiaw was so bad this year but it has to be pioli setting the team intentionally to sabotage brown/black kids .

If you love them so much you should go and support them instead
I don't love them, in fact I hate them but I used to praise Milan for their tradition of developing great Italian players like Maldini, Baresi, Costacurta, Albertini and others while Inter of the triplete was almost 100% foreign and now we have a role reversal.
I guess it's something that bothers many Milan Italian fans, but it doesn't mean that we will stop supporting the team, for better or for worse.

Our defense both as a unit and individually will improve substantially with competent tactics and defensive midfielders.

Pioli’s suicidal tactics ran everyone into the ground and exposed them.

Hope we sign a matron who can prevent these bitches from opening their legs to Thuram or any decent press when they are alone.

Not gonna lie I want warriors on that backline. Theo and Tomori are warriors, you could sell the rest including Mike to rebuild our defense entirely and I wouldn’t shed a tear.

Everybody understands what you are saying and no offense it was obvious statement kudos for using 2 lines.

It’s the personal also. Pioli for all his alcoholism is same coach. Replace Kessie, Krunic or whatever with what we have we will struggle. We play 5 man back in our peak because Kessie and Krunic never advance. That scudetto season was beauty Kessie stays back and kalulu and tomori will bomb . Fucking safety blitz.

Now it’s over I hope we sign that proper racist from lilee
