thats the P&L on reported ebitda which I agree with you… they are making solid improvements

That’s not the issue

its their balance sheet and cash flow

with that said, the loan extension bought them a little time… iirc

Until when?

I need to replace my current "they're being taken over in May" bookmark.

they need to get out of their loan and find a complete new capital partner

I would say within 2 years or else they have to keep pulling down their cash burn to get within a level to cover their debt service or risk defaulting

this isn’t hard to do. Someone is going to want to loan them money.

i would think they sell the club and have new financing vs refinancing and keeping the same owner but that’s just a guess

I would say it’s a 5% chance they default but it’s still a small risk

nothing really happens though. That’s how we get into the hands of Elliott and that didn’t wreck the club. In fact, it did the opposite

The lack of presence of the managers at Milanello in the last few days and today too, is a melancholy portrait of the climate that exists. Pioli first betrayed by his players against Roma and now called to face the public pillory of San Siro - CM

Pioli was right these journalists don't like Milan, they sure do love him though

Lopetegui will not be the next Milan manager: one step away from West Ham

Which financial experts thought that Elliott takeover would wreck the club?

A) If you could wish for anyone, based on the rumours, who would it be?

B) Who do you think it will be?

We are entering peak days of Condor and it's not even May.

Some epic commoding already happening, and about to happen.

But I agree with @Kmoney , until Marotta suddenly enters San Siro with an even gaze I don't think anything drastic is happening with Inter. Unfortunately. Let's focus on us.

Clever work by Lopeteguis agent, probably got him an even higher wage at West Ham.

is this a trick question?

Not at all. I'm curious who thought that the takeover of the club by Elliott would result in the club being wrecked? Specially when you take into account of how Elliott operate.

My choices to coach Milan next season are:

De Zerbi
Abate
Gallardo

In that order.

Most probably we gonna hire someone that will get fired midseason, been replaced by Abate.

how do you think “they operate”

thats the kind of shit I do remember people saying.. “they are vulture funds and will dismantle the club“

which is the weirdest take of all time

taking over a sports club that doesn’t own its own stadium and then what… just selling all the players?

they are in the business of making a profit so what do you mean “especially how they operate“

A new coach will definitely arrive at Milan. He is going to be a young and international coach who is capable of working with young players and is aligned with the club’s policy. A series of candidates will be put on the table for Cardinale who will evaluate with Ibrahimovic, Furlani and Moncada

Milan will not have a major summer transfer campaign but they will make few additions like a defender, a midfielder and a young striker, without having to sell one of their top players

[@SkySport]
This basically means: we will never spend big if we don't sell one of our big players, sad story

I don't see the point of the Inter discussion at this point, we've already seen how it'll go based on the past few years

Zhang kicks the can down the road to keep ownership. Inter will perform well as long as they maintain Inzaghi and Marotta but still fail to compete with the top teams because they lack high-end quality. Sell some players to plug up losses/gaps in revenue, replace them with sharp signings, and keep the show going

That’s exactly what I’m trying to find out. Elliott was never going to wreck the clot. Or dismantle it. What they did, they were always going to do. That’s how they operate.

So I’m curious who here thought that they were going to wreck the club.

I still vividly remember @bluenine trying to make that argument.
