I get this view but also…whether you or I like Pioli or not, he is the only semi successful period we’ve had in the last 15 years. All of the coaches, directors, owners(!), players in that time, he’s the only guy who won a thing. And got us CL regularly, which was taken for granted here obviously considering the last two seasons.
Rangnick is a smart guy so I understand wanting to get behind him. But he’s also scared off many big clubs over the years and was horrible at United. My fam likes United so I follow them closely, a lot of fans said he correctly identified the cancers in the club but otherwise he didn’t do anything. And that’s a similar environment to Milan. So I get it but I’m not gonna think “what if” over the only decent period Milan has had for two decades.
If he’s the right man for the current job, we will see. He and glasner would be interesting but they’re gonna need a lot of time. And both would probably criticize things during rough stretches that im not sure Gerry will appreciate. But we need to do something drastic, 100%
