Btw Atheletico according to latest reports is a club which has to sell David Villa as they have debts of about 300 million !! Still they figure out ways to sell someone and bring a replacement. Our f$%^&*%^ management can't figure out to bring some useful replacements after selling for 100 million and having 0 debt. How annoying is this !!!

btw it was not David Villa. I meant Aguerro :D. Typo :)

If Krasic if going to come it will probably be in the winter. Russian league end in winter and clubs prefer not to sell players in the mid season in sumer.Like Zenit did with Arshavin last winter.

Just bring him in winter! But it's unlikely we are going to do so if we get Beckham back.

He looked pretty good last night against Man Utd. Doubt we will be bringing him in any time soon.

No1 will come.
The Real win could probably turn 2 a curse since G will announce Milan the greatest team in history & no new players r needed.

Yep, I agree with this. The Roma and Madrid win is actually bad b/c they stupid management will think nothing wrong with the team. When it still painfully obvious major changes is needed.

While I have very little faith in Berlusconi, those two games were absolute must wins. Our management wants the club to be self-sustaining, and the only way to do that is for the club to have access to Champions League funds. Winning in Spain means that we are now in a much better position to advance to the Knockout Rounds, and winning at the San Siro against Roma puts us only 3 points behind the CL qualifying spots in Italy. It's possible that these two wins, both against highly regarded teams, will give us some momentum moving forward. We need fan support and we need the CL if we are to be successful moving forward. I do understand your point and it's a point that is echoed by many other fans. Still, the club absolutely needs access to those funds if we are to have any hope of getting reinforcements. The only hope I have, at this point, is for the club to bring in those revenues and essentially buy itself some new players in the next year or so, because we will not be getting any financial support from Berlusconi, and I do not expect the team to be sold.

I really do believe that Galliani thinks we need new players, though. His comments over the Cissokho deal sort of showed a divide between his position and that held by Berlusconi. At the very least, I think it's good to have two people (Leonardo is the other) within the club who understand that this club needs to be overhauled.

"A gennaio una punta esterna"
Galliani annuncia mosse di mercato
Adriano Galliani

"A gennaio prenderemo un attaccante esterno". A sbilanciarsi, in maniera abbastanza inusuale, è nientemeno che Adriano Galliani. Dagli spogliatoi del "Bentegodi", l'amministratore delegato del Milan annuncia rinforzi per la sua squadra oltre al ritorno, già sostanzialmente confermato, di David Beckham. Diversi i nomi sull'agenda rossonera: ma per tanti candidati ad arrivare, una partenza che sembra sicura, quella di Klaas Huntelaar.

Krasic in january seems very likely now:)

Let's hope that Baldie isn't lying and he will actually sign somebody good enough, like Krasic or Suarez.

I hope we get Krasic in January (or Suárez, but he will be expensive I'm affraid)

-------------------Pato-------------------
-----Borriello--------------------Krasic----
------------------------------------------
-------Pirlo--------------------Beckham---
-----------------Ambrosini----------------
------------------------------------------
leftback------Silva------Nesta----rightback
------------------------------------------
------------------Storari------------------

Pato is striker, Borriello is CF / target man / everywhere to hold the ball, and Krasic is speedy right winger. I will be thrilled with this. Not too much to ask for also. I'm not sure to start with which fullbacks.

Baldie just said that Beckham is going to be the only arrival in January

I guess the maximum we can expect in January is Beckham and maybe one signing of a Brazilian for the EU spot and most likely only Beckham. I guess I am out of the tranfer forum now and just focus on our matches and hope our existing players remain motivated and support them.

F@%^ you Belusconi and Galliani !!

+10. a very comprehensive post. exactly whats been going through my head. berlu doesn't want to dump cash anymore, so we need to make money by ourselves. taking over san siro and owning it in a couple years will help a ton, but also, making sure we get the CL money is a MUST. I insult Galliani a lot, but its clear the problem lies with Berlu. Berlu sets the price he's willing to pay and even if its 10 million under the asking price (like in the Dzeko situation), he tells Galliani to get the player for that price and absolutely no more. G tried his tricks with Wolfs and with Porto for Cissokho, but they both failed. But really it was all he could do. If Berlu gave him just 10 more mil, we could have had both Dzeko and Ciss here right now.

Why beckham over Abate & Flamini?

for the front 3 pato and borrie must swap. for the mid. as much as i love ambrosini and wot he has done for milan he must step aside for flamini. yes to becks and yes to pirlo. for the back. abate as the RB. and for LB either use antonini/domenico criscito. = very wise transfer window.

Than we should have enough for the likes of krasic by winter. He goes around 15mil so along with the 20mil (or is that all already gone to cover debts?)+ other CL winnings we should be able to fork out for something more than beckham i hope.

I think Galliani has commented on the importance of reaching the next stage to help the club financially.

What exactly did the comment near the top of this page say? Galliani said yesterday that we wouldn't buy anyone in addition to Galliani, so I'm not going to get my hopes up. Krasic is the one guy I could see arriving, because he plays in Russia and I believe the Russian season ends in January, right? We need more than just Beckham+Krasic, but I'd be absolutely thrilled to get Krasic.

Can't he also play behind strikers?

If Milan do reach the next stage i think the cash reward from that will go to covering players wages and hopefully leave Milan will a sizeable profit at the end of the year. As for Galliani statement it pretty obvious that Milan will at least loan a non eu international i can't see him not taking advantage of the non eu spot especially since he released players to gain the spot. What is the biggest stumbling block other than the financial cost would be Milan willingness to chase Rafinha if the rumours were true than i would think it highly unlikely that Milan would buy Krasic. If you were able to hold up Arsenal as a example and their pursuit of Arshavin they had similar problems to Milan, a lack of transfer funds owners unwilling to invest and a finely balanced wage budget. If they were able to strike a deal for Arshavin I am sure that a club with Milan resources would be able to strike a deal.

and to answer Milan ten yes krasic can play behind the strikers and i don't think the players would be willing to play in minus 20 temperatures so yes i guess it would end in january actually i would guess it ends in the first week in December

Criscito is what I wish for in summer, don't expect that in January.

Probably on paper it will be Borriello in the middle, since I describe him is CF, but in the field it should be Pato in the middle who scores of course.

I'm not sure if Flamini is a better option than Ambrosini. At this point I prefer Ambrosini, but things might change. Close call.

Antonini and Abate could be best options because they are most closely to wingbacks. It would be awesome if they succeed this season in these roles.

In a three man midfield I don't want to use Abate. Abate may be rightback, and also backup for Krasic.

I wish either Seedorf or Beckham, not Flamini, at that position, I think. Flamini should try to earn Ambrosini's spot.

Lol, those world famous Russian winters.

Krasic really reminds me a lot of Kaka both in speed, the way he handles the ball, and some of the passes that he is capable of making. What we lack at this point is a player with speed to compliment Pato, and I don't think there is a better option than Krasic. If we play a 4-3-3, then I guess Pato would have to switch back over to the left side with Boriello/Hunt in the middle. We're just going to have to wait and see...

My hope is that Milan will replace each player with an expiring contract man for man. We have 4 players with contracts that are about to expire, so what we need to do is replace them with 4 young/talented players. The next season I think we have 8 expiring contracts, but I imagine at least 3 of them will be renewed, so we need to get 5 young/talented players. I'm hoping that this is the long term goal of Berlusconi, but who knows what he is thinking. In the meantime, the club needs to do its part to earn the money necessary for such transfers to take place. I'd only count on having about 30 million available for transfers between January and next summer. Krasic at 12, Dzeko at 20, Paloschi, and Criscito for 10 sound good to anyone?
