Pato scored a good goal, but did not touch the ball once for the entire first half... the other highlight he had was when he was miles offside. Besides that, he was no where to be seen, he never got into positions for his players to pass, he never came back to help in build up... he can make a case of him putting pressure on the defenders, but it wasnt anything extraordinary.

Maybe that was his role today. Thats what the coach told him to do

I wish that pato would take people on more !

For us i feel he will be more of that type. because with the way things are going we might play very wide and fast. And this should mean lots of space for pato to either run past or behind players.

getting rid of ibra might turn out to be a great move. We seriously look a different team with pace and workrate. Pato now is the number one player, and i think pato enjoys knowing he is the star.
great things could happen.

Getting rid of ibra is the best thing weve ever done since he came to our squad we counted on him ALLOT but now that hes not here it will give a chance for some young talents to shine like Pato, EL92 , KPB etc ! ive always liked Pato as a player, the season coming up will be his season, dont be shocked if he is the leading goalscorer in Serie A.

well di nataile is still around, so who knows. I think that its becoming a season that will be key for the team, and Pato.

Ironic how things have fallen into place for Pato to lead. And its exciting. This new style of play fits the players we have. So who knows how we will do next season. But things are looking positive.

2 games without an injury?!?! That's a first. I am sure he will blow out his ACL in game one for Milan.

he looked very good today.
he was making all the right runs and would have scored more if neymar and hulk weren't such greedy bitches.

he looked focused, kept his composure and never stopped making runs.
pato showed good attacking workrate and got in front of his marker at will.
if only brazil tried lifting the ball over the defense in the 1st half.
he will be big next year. :proud:

Maybe playing more as CF will prevent his muscle injuries as opposed to always trying to utilize his pace like in that video. Working as a box presence to finish off chances should keep him healthier.

but then hes not showing his full potential

well i wouldn't mind have a porsche , or to have my own mansion and £100000000 ... that would be nice
Since this thread is about Pato....

Anyway, lets hope he stays fit and keeps scoring, he's not like Neymar, more of a CF and a goal scorer, its about time people realised that.

You mean trying to make Maradona's goal all the time. No. thank you. Though, I just want him to move all around the area and involve himself more in the game instead of being a totem pole that it seems that is the role for Brazil's NT.
