Really, apart of the goal he was nowhere on the pitch but that is more problem of the team then problem of his game.

Brazil plays 4-3-3 with Neymar and Hulk(to lower degree) on the flanks and Pato as the central forward, and with Belarus playing very deep he's always with 3 defenders close to him.

Exacly , Pato had a solid game . He was asked to play in the opponents box and always made a run . He scored one , set up a couple of other good plays and won 1 or 2 freekicks .Better than damiao . Plus the most important thing is that he played 80 minutes and he didint pick up an injury . He has been injury free since last march .

Pato scored a good goal, but did not touch the ball once for the entire first half... the other highlight he had was when he was miles offside. Besides that, he was no where to be seen, he never got into positions for his players to pass, he never came back to help in build up... he can make a case of him putting pressure on the defenders, but it wasnt anything extraordinary.

He set up a couple of very nice plays, inlcuding a one-two with Neymar and won a dangerous free kick for his team. Also, laid off a header to Oscar who should have scored.
