It doesn't matter where or how this injury happened. You don't get struck by lightning once a month. This just means that maybe Pato isn't cut out for football.

i agree , he gets injured way too much for us to only call it bad luck.

Sadly I have to agree with this. and it looks like the usual three week muscle pull. it keeps happening and Pato should just play at a lower level it seems.

He collided with someone, and it is in a different muscle altogether. It may simply be a chance injury. Anyway, only 2 games. No need to panic.

This may have been a simple lesion, normal ... 2 games, and then returns. From there we will see.

yeah..it's pato.

He was slightly bruised and missed some trainings from a tackle during the olympics as well, he didn't play many minutes during the olympics either, but Milan really need him to be able to consistently play 90 minutes several times as week, it doesn't look like he is over these problems. :( I read this is a new injury as well.

This injury might not mean more than a few weeks missed, but when will it happen again? Milan should think of him as a super-sub when fit and find a different primary solution to our attack, Pato needs to be healthy and able to play consistently before we can build around him.

The Milan Lab can only do so much, its up to the player themselves to make sure they do it properly. But muscle injuries can be prevented, by how you warm up and down, also on how you live away from the pitch aswell, partyin, stayin up late and drinkin arent goin to help. It is also very common with sprinters to have muscle injuries due to their running technique not being correct and as we know Pato is very fast, plus hes a growin lad and growin lads have injuries all the time Gerrard for 1 when he was younger.

Everyone in here is about to commit dat because the lad got injured, FFS while everyone gettin their swords out and ready to fall on it for, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Its better to get it out of the way now.

While I am also optimistic because he got injured in practice instead of a game, I think that if he continues in this pattern, Milan will take the loss and just release him in summer because you just cannot keeping an injury-prone player (like in American football, where the Colts for 3 frickin' years Mr. Bob Sanders) plus quite frankly nobody is going to pay anything for him. Not even a case of bananas.

Cant this club just turn him back to the agile, skin&bone tricky midget he was first he came here? Wat was wrong with that player seriously, wat was the point adding so much muscle sigh.......

This......hulk like creature is useless.

I think shedding muscle weight is really easy while keeping the strength constant. They must try this approach as well.

Milan ain't realy the club that's known for its wise decisions so why do you bother defending him with such speech. You guys are like a broken CD. "We need to keep our senators, we need to keep pato cause it's not his fault"

Have you guys forgot that fotball is also a business?

This kid has kept a spot where any other talent in the world could have done better since i have never seen anyone been injured this much. For how many seasons will this go on... He's not realy a child anymore.

don't know man.

thigh strain is 'vague' to say the least. You think Ronaldo, Zlatan, Messi aren't 'hurt' a lot of season.

I don't want to hear a 'lack of balls' argument around robinho anymore. I seriously doubt the kids toughness.

Surely the fact that he's spend the last 2 years injured is a pretty good reason to take precautions. Totally unfair criticism. And for all you know Pato was the one that rejected PSG, or City rejected Galliani's offer (that was the story at the time)... Berlusconi takes the credit every single time a player almost leaves the club. Why would he negotiate with Tevez and PSG if he had didn't wanna sell Pato? Do you really think a guy like Berlusconi acts like a woman with PMS, changing his mind every other day?
