But where exactly is Pato in his career at 24 years old?

He's been hampered by injuries since 2010. Another player might even quit with so much recurring muscle problems.

And I've seen several of his matches at Corinthians. At first he was a bit awkward which is understandable due to the history in the past years. then he was unlucky in a couple of games I've seen where he missed sitters and people got on his back because of that. But his speed is back and his technique isn't rusty anymore but worldclass as usual. His attitude has always been the same as it was at Milan. I dont know what the fans expect. Honestly Corinthians doesnt look like the right club for him tactically and supporting cast wise, more than anything else.

it is still pretty early in his career so there is plenty of time for him to diversify a bit.

I was just impressed with how he was able to make a bunch of young players play like a team in a limited amount of time with the U-21s, and think that could lead to him getting Milan to playing like a team quickly enough to give us a chance to at least challenge for an EL spot.

To me he seems like a good hire for a team in our situation. If he excels, we can keep him on long term, and if he doesnt, we can look at Prandelli or whomever else.

He brings the added benefit of experience with developing younger players, so even if we dont do get to the CL (which would be very tough for anyone), at least their is a good chance that he could help to improve El Sha, DeS, Christante, and all our other young talent and put us in the best position we can be going forward

I prefer MilanLab being Pato's Drago over Zlatan. Zlatan is more Clubber Lang from Pato's POV. A thug, that doesnt hold himself down from talking (granted Clubber Lang was more of a new boxer rising, bur from Pato's POV, Zlatan was the new guy rising at Milan), who will use all his force and his street tactics. Zlatan is showing Pato that before him, he never really had any competition, that everything was fixed to make him look better.

Drago is more a machine, an ideology, Drago is Allegri/MilanLab. "I must break you", even if its said in a very Zlatan like tone, in Pato's POV, "I must break you" sounds more true to MilanLab than anything.
