with that physicality?

He should go to spain to be honest. Beat high lines, more technical, less worries about butchers

Whats the problem with his physicality? Hes fast and strong, suits the premiership a lot more because of the space. Spain could also be good but I dont see Barca or Madrid clubs taking him and the others cant afford him.

 Pazzini and Balotelli are just fine at least they can score... Did we not learn our lesson with Matri?

Pazzini and balo are great, agreed, but Pato can also play wide, he is fast, and can beat players. Better than most others we are linked with for the same price.

And Matri, how can you compare Pato with him, Pato was amazing against every big team for us in the CL and league and stages in each season, and scored goals that were clinical and sometimes amazing.

Hate him for injuries, not for the player he was when fit. There is nothing to hate.

he couldn't handle physicality of Serie A.

EPL defenders are worse with challenges and abuse, not to mention clumsiness.

The physicality of the premiership is overrated.

completely disagree.

Highly doubt that statement.

Yes they are few that go in hard and of course the faster pace game makes for harder collisions but they do a much better job (imo) policing that type of play. So while you can get more violent collisions you probably will see much less than the constant challenges that can occur in serie a and of course the more subtle ankle and back of the knee shots.

Anyway - his problem was his body failing him from his physical actions, not really the challenges of defenders.

Totally agree on the Spain move though - its the best league to showcase offensive capability

I don't think he will ever comeback nor do we need him. We have Balotelli and Pazzini, after all!

His problems weren`t tied to getting tackled. Most of his injuries were muscle injuries, and they came usually when he was sprinting in open space, you should know that much..

so a guy who hurts himself straight sprinting is gonna be less likely to be hurt in a league w/ worse defenders and more sprinting?

How do you make these correlations????

If his problems were due to him injuring himself and that is no longer the case then why would it matter where he played.

If you can show collisions caused the injuries you may have a point but..... yeah.

You are also the first I have seen to talk about these English butchers  English game is physical because of the constant movement and the aerial play etc - not for nasty tackling, which is associated to Argentine and Italian (though more deceptive) football.

ffs get it through your head, Pato's injuries were because of Milan's bad treatment (diet, training regime, workout plan, rushing rehab, training regime etc). Since hes not in Milan his injury problems are over. No sprinting or league will make him go through the same nightmare again (except if he returns to Milan probably)

No it's because Pato was lazy and did coke.

Also why SES is injured for the last year.

Again, defenders had nothing to do with it. I don`t see why you insist that such a connection exists.

It doesn`t matter which league he plays in, if he isn`t able to sprint he can`t play professional football. He hasn`t had muscle problems since moving away from Milan Lab, so going to England wouldn`t matter from a fitness standpoint.

I am pretty sure that there are more players with broken in England for nasty tackles than in Italy.
