here we get discount with our student IDs and if it's before a certain hour it's cheaper

I just came back from watching Hairspray with Michelle Pfiffer, Christopher Walken, James Marsden, Queen Latifah, Amanda Bynes, Zac Efron, Brittany Snow and... John Travolta portraying a woman !
it's was a really fun movie, set in the 60's, it's a musical (so if you hate musicals then you probably won't be able to handle it) about a dance show
Travolta was really funny as a woman, and even with the suit and heels he can still dance with style ... Christopher Walken wasn't left behind

I never go to the cinema waste of money, i prefer to watch the movie home on dvd and a big ass screen tv whit friends.

I saw yesterday : Rush hour 3,kinda boring and the last samurai the second time,man that movie is amazing.

I will never spend $10 on any movie (at most in here is like $3, and if it's a Wednesday before 4:00 pm, it's $1).

I also will not spend $10 to be forced to listen to jackasses yap on their cell phones or talk throughout the picture. And you can't tell these people off because they'll shoot you in the parking lot afterwards.

When I saw the third installment of Lord of the Rings in 2003, some redneck right behind me literally talked through nearly the entire movie.

One downtown theater now has a special $6 rate for movies shown before 12 noon. Not too long ago, my mother gave me a gift card so I could go see the new Harry Potter movie.

You should try gladiator and the last samurai there way above troy.Im not saying it`s not good,but just not on the same level.

I've got to agree that Gladiator and Last Samurai were better movies than Troy}

what's interesting about the Last Samurai is that it shows how tradition and the old ways were being threatened by the modern ways... also how a foreigner learns about the Japanese culture or Samurai traditions to be more exact

the simpsons movie was great ! the best scene in the whole movie was when marge tapes the video for Homer, i actually saw loads of ppl crying during that scene. But at the same time the movie had plenty of laughs specially the line "BOuntiful penis" LMAO

Yesterday I saw The Last King of Scotland (it's about Idi Amin's regime in Uganda), it was really good, as at first (if you were ignorant like me about Amin), you understand why people in Uganda were so happy with him, in fact you fall believing that he was a nice family man, that came from a poor background and now wants the best for his country...but then you start realizing everything. Wonderful performance by Forest Whitaker

Funny thing is that I have to give a report about it (relating it with human rights-democracy), and I went to imdb to see if some symponosis could give me a guide...and there it was, in the home page, the symponosis of the movie.

^Transformers is one of the best i have seen this year . It's really awesome , esp when u watch it in the cinema , all those big robots on the screen . And Yeh Mega Fox is super hot , her bf is one heck of a lucky guy .

Btw Rush Hour 3 was hilarious , but the movie length is pretty short , not more than 1.30 mins , i hoped it lasted longer.

For the past month I've been doing a thing I've always wanted to do: WATCHING "THE SOPRANOS" IN FULL!

Four seasons down, two to go, and this show ROCKS! 9,5/10 easily. Tony's mother is one to watch out for in the first two seasons. What a character! In fact, everyone is great. And Silvio: now that's how the stereotype mobster should look like!

I know this ain't a movie but it beats 99% of them, so here you go.

Watched Mr.Brooks, Sunshine and Disturbia last week.

Well-acted by Costner as 'villain' in Mr.Brooks. Worth-watching.
