DDR, Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio, Cambiasso, Montoliovo, Flammini, Muntari, De Jong, Pogba, Hamsik, Inler, Zanneti, Mauri, Hernanes, Lodi, Pjanic

how can you not see that he offers nothing going forward or in defence

if we add nocerino to this list (yes, i added strasser and merkel to it even though theyre gone) that makes 9 midfielders.

8/9 = 88%

88% of the midfielders closely associated with us are better than nocerino.

Is Nocerino better than Traore??????? Tough call...we haven't seen alot of bakaye.

Why do you choose to see shit where no shit is to be found, and then proceed to grill someone based on nothing? Maybe read previous posts of mine. I, unlike anyone here, actually defends Noce with sense and evidence. You just knee jerk it because you want somebody to bash.

common sense says nocerino is average and not worth a place in our team, maybe we could sell to Russia or serie b

lemoncookies....i have given you some reasons a few pages back about why i personally prefer other people to nocerino...i don't want to bash him...i just wish we had other options. like muntari.....or kevin prince, who would have played in noce's plays but for influenza..

i don't dislike the guy, but, i also would rather see other people in his place.

I give up arguing with you guys. I rarely bash any of our players, so I just don't understand why Nocerino gets so much hate. Works hard, and performs his role adequately. Mesbah, sure, he's average and doesn't deserve to play here, but Nocerino offers various things on the pitch people simply refuse to see. They prefer other players and don't give a flying shit about anyone else, thus going to the ends of the earth to take a shit on said other players.

Here, lemme say this.

Monty, Boateng, Ambrosini, and Muntari are all ahead of Nocerino in the pecking order. Both Flamini and Noce offer different aspects on the pitch but are equals, IMO. Traore doesn't count, haven't seen him in the Milan shirt more than 13 seconds.

Edit: One shouldn't discount his presence in training. He seems to liven things up and has a lot of fun with his teammates. There's so much more that goes into a player than statistics or performances on the pitch.

I know it's cliche but 11 of the best players on a individual level don't necessarily make the best team.

When our midfield was full of very technically gifted and truly talented players like Ronaldinho, Seedorf, Pirlo and Beckham the results were below expectations of a team having as much as 4 of the greatest mids of the past decade.

I'm not defending Nocerino but there must be some reason why Allegri keeps playing him...

He played against udinese because boateng had the flu

his current role is boateng's backup at LCM, which is about right.

He does similar things to boateng as a mezzala.... just not as good.

He's a fine squad player. A modern day brocchi or vogel. And thats about where he's been used. He's started a little more than half our games. A fair chunk of those were cause of injury issues
