First thing Pioli needs to work on with CDK is pressing. Spend the first two weeks of the off season making him a competent presser. Like karate kid, wax on, wax off. Start with foundational things for his integration in the system. Once he gains confidence through that, work on repetitive attacking sequences to instill patterns of how Pioli wants us to play through him. Need the entire off season to develop the boy. These things will help his confidence. He’s not lacking technically or physically.

I have a feeling he will be a late bloomer....might only see the best of him around the age of 28.

Leao and Tonali weren’t good in their first season as well but CDK did not show any promise at all. It’s not like he didn’t get enough chances. Actually he got worse and worse. Do we risk keeping him another year like this? Do we keep playing him as AM in our system? I prefer not, but let’s see what they decide on.

poor decision making on his chance...he should have pulled it to his right leg and tried to curve it towards the far post

First season in a new league is always tough. But he manged to get as many goals as Belotti so not too shabby. Always room to improve.

this guy will be always remembered as the worst transfer ever as he ended the era of Maldini in Milan in the worst way possible.

It's not over until its over.

He may be sold this summer, he may be a revelation next season, he may continue to be rubbish. Nothing is decided yet.

If we did not put faith in Leao during his first seasons at the club he wouldn't be the player he is now.

they fired maldini(who trusted him) and retained faith in Pioli(who doesn't trust him) so any payment if any, he will be sold but all in all, he doesn't worth any penny we paid for him.

Probably the worst price/output transfer in Milan history.
Never mind the fact that he's goofy as fuck in addition.

Even if the Maldini sacking was due to him refusing to bow down to ownership and play boy and not because of the CDK purchase, there's a clear case for him getting boot only for that as well.

Not the worst.
We paid 38m for Andre Silva.
And then there all the Mirabelli / Fassone transfers.

It didn't help that Pioli refused to give CDK any playing the. If he played like 10 matches this season, it would be a lot easier to sell him.
We sold Silva for freaking 8m

Andre Silva, besides putting in actual goals (8g), has given @leaf immeasurable happiness. This cannot be bought with money.
CDK has given BRK only scrutiny and disappointment.

Dear Milan fans, since more than 60 years I have been watching football in Belgium and elsewhere. One of my first international games was the 1963 final Milan - Benfica with C. Maldini, Trappatoni and above all the elegant Gianni Rivera... When I heard last Summer that Charles was to leave Bruges for Milan, I was sad. In all these years I have never seen a player like Charles coming thru the youth ranks and achieving such a fast progression. In general we, the Bruges fans, thought it was better for him to stay another year in Bruges to get stronger and gain maturity. It is only because P. Maldini insisted so hard that I thought it would be a good match at the end. I have watched all Milan games of last season. My conclusion is that the Milan fans have only seen 50% of what Charles is capable of. Sad for Milan, sad for Maldini and sad for Charles and his Bruges fans. Apparantly Maldini and Pioli saw him as a nr. 10 but... he only played that position two or three times when our playmaker was unavailable. Charles was flexible, played on the right side, on the left side, as a center forward and even as left back (for the national team...). His teammates knew that they could always give him the ball and that he would handle it in an efficient way. What a difference with last season! But I am full of confidence: he may be a quiet, silent, well educated guy but he also has a lot of willpower since his very young age when he was one of the best young... tennisplayers. Charles will not give up. If Milan let him temporary go (to Atalanta?) be assured, he will be back, stronger than ever before.

2 goals 0 assists at 100% ?

J/k...he was never a fit here and its better for all, but especially him to go some he can express himself better.

Didn’t quite click for him here but I think he’s gonna crush at Atalanta.

Good luck Charles

Who knows if some of our dummies had scored of his beautiful assists early on in the season he would’ve had less weight on his shoulders , more confidence and more chances to show his talent. Sad.

Good luck CDK. Hope you do well in Atalanta just to show how shitty Pioli is in managing players
