Ridiculous that they complain of anti-football being deployed against them all the time, when they do that more than anyone actually. Them pressurising opponents in their own half just asks for defend + counter-attack tactic, there is no other way around it, unless you have a really great squad.

They suffocate the opponents attack before it goes over the half way line, and it works for them so far, so why wouldn`t other teams suffocate them by putting numbers in defense?

I`d like our midfield to be a lot more composed for the next match so we can actually string a few passes and get the ball to Pato and co. when we win the ball, but I still want to see the same defensive system deployed, just without silly mistakes + fouls this time.

I said that before. Their defensive scheme is the most annoying thing of Diving-lona; however, most critics only see their possession time and how many passes they do and connect.
Funny thing, it was when they tied against madrid before the Kings cup Mr. Cruyff said that Madrid pratices Anti-football. Priceless.
If they do it, it is the most beautiful football, but if other team does it to them it is anti-football.

We were lucky --- > Galliani -- > http://www.football-italia.net/sep14b.html
But what does he know , right ?!!!!!
I bet the "text fans" in here know better.
They know better than him about how Barca arent good but rather cheat & dives & he didnt talk about their big mouths but rather their game coz in the real world all teams have their divers & they all talk to much after & before the game.
Ban Galliani I say & lets keep who comment after reading about the game rather than watching it hence the big deals about what Barca's players say rather than how they perform.

The better team won , simple.
They have a better team & much more ambition.
Its to bad actually coz if G&B wanted to spend just a little we would have beat them.
Players like Nesta , TS , Abate & Pato shouldnt play with a midfield like Seedorf - Ambro - MVB - KPB midfield.
Its a waste & G&B are to blame.
We need CMs , pure & simple.
We can bring all the AMs , attackers & defenders & they will still suck without a normal midfield who can do the simplest thing in football : PASS.

Completely agree with you, well almost 100% on the comment. KPB and MVB are good, but See and Ambro way passed their best especially when playing team like Barca. I understand Galliani, who cant go and tell publicly that we are screwed for money... I do almost sure he was embarrassed to sit at Camp Nou and watch our boys cant pass a single proper pass.
I am also 100% sure he knows he will need to buy if not in January, but definitelly next summer

I would love to see el shawaary play in the CL this round, in the end he couldnt be worse than ambrosini. Like wow was he fukin horrible, i hope we get montolivo in january and dont have to see him again

Hello all, Im pretty new to these forums and this is my first post. Just wanted to say that the result on Tuesday was fantastic, even if the performance wasn't that great. It just goes to show you that even if you have 70% of the ball it doesn't matter if you can't put the ball in the net, or even really create any chances. The defensive display was solid and the only way the 'best team in the world' could score against us was with one mistake where Abate wasn't as strong as he could have been and with a set piece (from a free kick that was never a free kick in the first place).

Intersting to note that, in the UK anyway, all the talk was about how much Barcelona should have buried us and how lucky Milan were in getting a result. No mention of the fact that they created very little, and at the end of the day, it was an away performance against a very good side where you don't expect to see a lot of the ball anyway. If the shoe was on the other foot and it was one of the medias darling boys like Manchester United it would have been hailed as a fantastic display of tactics and defensive unity.

Don't even get me started the British Media and Irish Media are so painstakingly biased in "every way" it is just ridiculous if there is a game televised i'll watch it on mute!. The only Milan game i didn't watch on mute was televised on SAT 1 it was against Bayern we beat them 4-1. the german pundits were fair, honest and decent and admitted that Milan had outplayed and outclassed Bayern. In other words there was sportsmanship something the English/Irish Media know nothing about.

Hush hush , deep inside Galliani is screaming that Barca arent good , they cheat , they dive , they pressure the ref to go in their favor , they talk to much outside the green pitch ,, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm what else , oh yeah they inject their players with drugs to grow & they invented Messi + screamed "its alive" which is something that no one but them discovered.
But for political reason he isnt as brave as ppl in here hence only commented about football related stuff.
All the above are things that no media in the world discussed but ppl in this forum have more insight than all the specialist that write about sports.
Reporters all over the world are on the pay I say.

You telling me Villa's FK did not come as a result of a Busquets dive?

You telling me that Alves shouldn't have been sent off for a two footed lunge?

You telling me there werent multiple incidents when they went down too 'easily'?

No one was denying they aren't good or they didn't dominate us off the park. But to completely ignore the shit they pulled is just fuckin' pathetic....

What is Galliani supposed to say? Have you ever heard him speak bad about any of our opponents?

Unlike a certain team who are sore losers of epic proportions and how the result was 'unfair' and how they got 'robbed'. Funny how they didn't come with the same shit when we, Chelsea, Madrid and Arsenal got 'robbed'...

goddammit ash,

I was about to reply to wild and say 'who exactly said that'

@wild- no one is denying out midfield was garbage, but what did you expect? Our only hope would have been both seedorf and aquilani playing and Aquilani was clearly not fully fit (oh love you training staff).

But I'll take the positives, which was milan did defend like lions. This early in season. We'll see what happens second leg. I'll be really dissapointed if we still cannot complete 3 straight passes

I can easily give you many things that went in Milan's favor so many times & I bet other small team fans could be talking the same about Milan.
Thing is , Milan isnt a small team & his fans shouldnt have such mentality.
I commented about the game that is football related but am sick & tired about ppl talking shit about Barca much more than talking good about Milan.
100% small team mentality is to talk shit about the better team coz you cant talk good about your own team.
Notice how the majority of the ppl who witnessed the great Milan doesnt have a problem to say that the current Milan aint good enough & they doesnt mind other teams having a better team , more titles , better performance -- > its a cycle.
But the internet/text/highlight fans just cant handle the pressure.
If you arent tall then make all other ppl shorter.

Spare me your BS. How about you go check out the Barca forums before coming in here with your 'high & mighty' attitude. You might that we are not the only ones who are talking shit about the opposing team rather than talk about our own.

So what now, you are not allowed to talk shit about the opposition at all? Pretty rich trying to pass yourself off as a real Milan fan when you have constantly slanted the legends of the team, even if they are past it. I don;t mind Barca having the better team, but I am also not going to suck their cock 24/7 and proclaim how jizz worthy they are like you do. You act as if you are the only one who is dissappointed with the current team and that you are showing us the light by constantly reminding us how shit the team is....

I get that the current team aint good enough compared to the teams we had in the past, but just because we don't criticise it 24/7 like you do doesn't mean some of us think we are still the greatest team in the world. But neither am I gonna just praise Barca no matter what and just ignore all the shit they pull.....

So you are gonna tell me that Milan are mentioned + hated as much Barca is in this forum ?
I bet they mention Milan while discussing Barca - Valencia game.
Or as soon as the mafia discussion is open they squeeze Milan in it.

You are allowed to talk shit about any team praise any team.
But giving more time to any team other than Milan rather if its good or bad talk is simply idiotic.
Many ppl in here have more hate to Barca or Real than love to Milan & again it ******ed.

Hate against Barça is a very common stuff nowadays, it's not only Milan related. Go to every board of a big european club and you'll find the same.
I read a Gobbi forum and there was members supporting us over Barça just out of hate for them.

It's natural when a team is in the top to attract hate against. But for Barça it's worse, cause they have that "holier than you" attitude and are kinda arrogant. Also, a lot of their fans are either pricks preaching about football or simply gloryhunters. This is where rivalries are created btw, when you have to deal with other fans.

Personally, my opinion about them didn't change.

I'm sorry some of us aren't as sophisticated as you r big-team mentality and supersized flat screen TVs. sincere apologies. Now, if I may, kindly disclose how you fail to observe the obvious favours gone bartha's way over the years; or do you not respect van gals' comments after that chelsea semi final? I thought you were a fan of his-but I guess he's unsophisticated like me with the small team mentality bug. Same goes to Jose and Wenger.

One thing that really mystifies me though is that carlo never caused a scene over Sheva's disallowed goal. surely that means he has a big team mentality much like yourself. Why then would you dedicate most of your time on these boards to blindly criticize each and everything he did? Why would you call our 07 season lucky and boring?

Better yet, why would you suggest that we not even try to win the UCL that season, instead concentrate on finishing in the top 4 and securing a place for the ensuing season's UCL? Eeeerm, small team mentality much? :D That was about the same time when you were nuts over one ronaldinho, if I'm not mistaken.

So why don't we just cut the chase and say you're getting butt.hutt because bsrtha's true colours are exposed to most; well, that could be it you know. Rather difficult to have an objective opinion on them with your head impaled deeply within their ...

Off your high horse mate. Some things never change.

Yours sincerely,

Passion's bitch/slut/****** and whatever other sophisticated thing your adolescent mind can come up with.
