Wat is his injury??? He looked fine tuesday.

PS. i'm curious what people thing (particularly wet ones), do you think it's indifference and laziness in small matches. OR do u think it's because generally bigger teams (UCL games for example) teams will come out to play and he has more space to make an effect. We all know clarence's game... he's not gonna dribble into a 10 man defense, he'll just pass to sid.

As of 02/19/2010:

Seedorf underwent an orthopedic exam yesterday afternoon, which evidenced an inflammation to his right femur. The player will have to rest completely for 10 days.

I feel it's a combination of the two. Like I said before, apart from the games against Man Utd (return leg) & Bayern in '07, where exactly did he shine? Largely anonymous in the final.

My problem is that he is a major liability when he doesn't show up (which is most of the time) as the amount of times he gives the ball away is just ridiculous.

I'm sure he's a great guy in person, but on the pitch he always makes it look like he's bigger than the club. His attitude when subbed is disgraceful.

agree with you i think the first derby of last season where dinho scored with header, seedorf was awesome in peerlos place, that prove we can win without that peerlo

and of course all the trofeo berlusconi games

aside from not shaking pato or coachess hand, that never bothered me much. No one should wanna be subbed off. TBH players who smile when subbed off in a tight or losing game, piss me off more. Like they don't give a fuck....

So it's better for him to walk out in slow motion while the other player is waiting to be subbed in all the while shaking his head as if it's the worst decision in the history of coaching?

It's the coaches decision. He needs to fucking accept it and get the fuck off so that play can resume and MILAN can try and equalize/win.

Report: Clarence Seedorf Misses Fiorentina-Milan And Flies Out To Brazil To Nurse Hip Injury

The trip to South America might help the Dutchman recover in time for next month’s visit to Old Trafford.

Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf is set to travel to Brazil in a bid to overcome a long-standing hip problem that has hampered him in recent weeks, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.

Seedorf made a substitute appearance in last Tuesday’s 3-2 defeat to Manchester United in the first leg of their last 16 first leg at the San Siro.

But after keeping the Rossoneri’s chances of advancing in the competition alive with a late back-heel effort, the problem flared up again and the ex-Real Madrid man was ruled of Sunday’s trip to Bari.

Seedorf will also miss tomorrow’s rescheduled Serie A clash with Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi and is expected to spend a few days in Brazil in the hope that the summer temperatures will help him get back up and running in time to make the trip to Manchester for the vital return leg match with the Red Devils on March 10.

Why do they go to South America. I would expect Europe to have better medical facilities than Brazil.

he seems to be fit for wednesday and maybe could also be in starting lineup

here's the news from milannews.it
Good news at home Milan. Pending loose doubts about a possible use of Pato, Leonardo, retrieves Clarence Seedorf. The Dutch, so as stated by Pellegatti for sports studies, carried out the entire morning session with the group and will surely be among the squad for the trip to English soil. Not be ruled his departure from the 11 owners, even as a striker on the right. Soon, it will branch the squad for the important big match on Wednesday evening.
I think he will def. be in the squad for wednesday and I'm sure he can be really important for us, I'm happy that he is fit :)

Thank you :D

Seedorf is in the called up list, so he def will be there, great, we need him there for sure, hopefully he will be a nightmare for them again.:D And also Pato is called up, so he should be fit enough to play one half at least I would say.

If Clarence is fit, Leo has to gamble and play him. Becks should only come on later on if we need to throw balls into the box in desperation (hopefully that wont happen) ... but surely Clarence and Flamini deserve to be ahead of him in the picking order.

This.Anyway what i wanted to write is that Seedorf is slowly getting a bench role a la Rui Costa in his last days with us.I dunno if his going to retire with us but i dont see him as a starter anymore.

He will be a good bench player for next year though ,as he is still fit enough to make the usual 20-30 minutes cameos , or rotate against lesser opponents .

I hope he will be fit enough to start on wednesday, he can make a big difference in this match. It's just that this kind of games are his, here is where he shows his best. He already scored the second goal in the first leg and that was an amazing goal, we need him on wednesday, him and Pato, I hope both are match fit.

LOL ... interesting what time does. Last year, people were calling Clarence Carlo's lover :D And now, they want an unfit Clarence to play in our most important match of the season ... :proud:

Thats because Clarence is:

- a 4 time UCL winner
- only person to win UCL at 3 different clubs
- has the biggest dick in Milan
- a successful business man
- involved in charity work; a humanitarian
- has more Samba in his left foot than entire Brazil NT
- is one of Nelson Mandela Foundation’s honored Legacy Champions.
