Milan forward Giampaolo Pazzini appears to have agreed a four-year contract with Hellas Verona.

Sport Mediaset claim that the striker has agreed terms for a move that should finally get him regular playing time.

?Il Pazzo? is a free agent, as his contract with the Rossoneri is due to expire on June 30.

He will turn 31 in August and this term scored five goals in 28 games between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, but very rarely started a match.

Pazzini will be able to form an intriguing partnership with joint-Capocannoniere Luca Toni at the Stadio Bentegodi.

Lazio, Bologna, Sassuolo and his old club Sampdoria had also been linked with an approach.

In a proper team he can still give a good contribute.

The older a player gets, the more injury-prone he is and the less likely of being able to hold for an entire game. Toni is playing this year but there's no guarantee that he'll play next year too. I personally don't see them playing together, it will be more of a playing one or the other.

The fact that Toni scored 22 goals doesn't mean that Pazzini can't score that many with a team fully working for him.
Most likely though, both players are at a stage where they no longer put their ego in front of the group and will be willing to sit on the bench if that means that the team has a chance to win.

Always liked him as a player, a bit one-sided poacher but a hard worker. Best luck Pazzo.

I'll miss Pazzini, one of the very few likeable characters we have on this team.

Underrated too, great hold up, draws fouls, makes runs, works hard, his goal return was poor last couple years, but with no consistency what do you expect. Always linked well with Shaarawy.

Wish him all the best, would've liked to have kept him for another year or two tbh
