-Zaccardo and bonera should retires. Milan need experience but both player are quality of relegation zone team. Please go away! Milan need experience of nesta, yepes ...
- albertazzi is better zaccardo and bonera. His cross to poli in first half is awesome,. Play simple pass and quick think.
- cristante is more mature than last year, good processing. His pass to pazzini is beautitul, reminr me pirlo's pass. Some situation lost his concentration. Man of the match!
- saponara showed some flash talent, but milan should buy taarabt for this position.
- el shaar is limit skill, only know stop and cut inside, easily to know how to stop him.
- niang had good game but he lack vision. Very raw talent
-pazzini is awful
-modic has perfect first touch, very gift player for sure. He is perfect for regista in my opinion

With our current players our best XI is probably

Abbiati, De Sciglio, Rami, Bonera, Constant, Cristante, de Jong, Honda, Menez, Pazzini, El Sha

5 players started out of that line up.....

Give me a break guys

Fixed.

1. Inzaghi want to sell Abate since he consider De Sciglio as a RB.
2. Inzaghi prefers to use Bonera and to make him captain, so Alex has to stay in bench.
3. Balotelli will 99% leave the club.
4. Montolivo is injured and he will not play until December.

Yeah man, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale agree.
Yeah dumbass...these 2 can actually dribble...and these 2 also play in La Liga too and they also play for Real Fucking Madrid the team that just won the Champions League and has some of the best players in the world...give me a fucking break!

SES doesn't have that kind of luxury
If we stick to playing wingers this upcoming season is already lost

Time to go back to what works...enough with the experimentation crap

All I want is a group of players on the field that will bleed for this team.

There's nothing to suggest that this group doesn't. You can have 11 pub level players bleeding their asses off and they will still get hammered be a quality team

LOLZ quite a few players in the current squads have reached their limits. That is as good as they will get there is nothing Inzaghi or coach ABCXYZ can do. Big teams buy stars for a reason guys.

In a way, I agree that the quality of players is of vital importance. But, I do think the quality of manager is also equally vital. Most big teams have world class or reputed solid managers.

By the way, I have nothing against Pippo. We are in transition, and I fully support him as the current Milan manager.

toronto fan here.

just came back from watching milan get humiliated by olympiakos. yes yes, friendly, not playing full team. I get it. But I mean the players that played are supposed to be our future or subs, and their playing was atrocious. We were the ones playing defense and hoping for a lucky break.

With that said,

Niang needs to be loaned out again, deff has talent but needs to practice.
El Shaarawy is really skilful and moves around a lot off the ball, but isnt making any more of those daring runs.
Pazzini was real weak today. Didnt do much

The face palms.
Zaccardo. What is this guy still doing playing pro? Needs to retire asap
Poli. Could not control one ball to save his life
Saponara. No foot-eye co-ordination. Tripping over himself etc

Best part of this experience? Watching some fan run on to the pitch, slip and almost slide tackle el shaarawy. Best challenge of the match haha. Then getting up and taking IG selfies with shaarawy

Well...

I saw the match today and there were plenty of times when players allowed themselves to get beat to a position. The 'speed and fight' to be in the right defensive position to cut off a pass was a little off.

Not the entire match but definitely in some of the key moments.

Some of it was just the lazy mentality of watching the ball while a man was left totally unmarked.

Probably still learning a new system and definitely a lack of experience with players who haven't been together for an extended amount of time.

Curious- how long did it take atletico to build? Dortmund?

We've been "transitioning" for what seems like forever now. Getting fed up, can B & G just tell the fans straight up. What is the plan? Where do we want to be and how the fuck are we actually going to get there?

If they say we can't spend more than 5 m per player and wages can't be above 3 m for the next couple of seasons because we want to build a stadium and strengthen the foundations of the club so be it. Just say it ! No more bullshit, it's an insult to the fans and this great clubs history.

Lol got to love the reactionary attitudes from commoders that ensues once we have endured a loss, particularly a painful one. It is just too hilarious hahah. Fuck this guy is shit, man he sucks bad, ses should play striker and niang is too raw hahahha

Cancel the season!!

No but seriously, it's pretty obvious how our season will look like if we keep neglecting the midfield. Saponara and Poli are anything but reliable mezzali.
The closest thing to a two-way 3 man mid with this roster would be Muntari-Monto-Essien. One is finished, one is long-term injured and the third is accused of chasing one in the coaching staff with a broken bottle.

For context, the last time we won the Scudetto our preseason looked like-

0-2 loss to Varese
1-1 to Arsenal
1-1 to Lyon
0-0 to Panathinakios (5-3 to Milan on PKs)
1-1 to Juve (4-2 to Milan on PKs)
0-0 to Inter (2-3 loss on Pks)
0-0 to Juve (4-5 loss on Pks)
1-1 to Bartha (1-3 loss on PKs)

No need to overreact now.

we bought zlatan on the last day of the transfer market though....

I will say it again and again, until Robinho leaves nothing is going to happen and as long as we keep starting Bonera (regardless who else is on the pitch) we will keep letting in silly goals.

I seriously hope Inzaghi realises by the end of preseason that Alex is miles ahead of Bonera

When is the next date for quitting being a Milan fan Albmovi ?

Milan will do shit in the preseason, therewill be 300 pages in the rumor commode about how we will be lucky to stay in seriea.

we will then win our first real match, followed by 300 pages screaming how MILAN IS BACK MOFOS.

i just love forums.

Anyone know how many of Olympiacos' regular starting 11 started today? They are also in pre-season just like us. Were they missing key players?

they were almost full str i ll call it about 7-8/11 starters.and they are about 10 days ahead of us in pre-season.

all that cant change the fact that they are a 30-40m budget team...and we lost to them 3-0 even in a pre season match

Good effort modern AC. very #ultracompetitive

Is it possible Zaccardo really is the heir of jesus? Not only does he look like him but in those 1 or 2 matches when he didnt fail at something, because the opposing team didnt cross the half way line, he actually convinced alot of people his technique, fitness of a 50 year old and the rest of matches he played on Oguchi Onyewu level dont matter. Some serious mind control there:eek:

Yes, Saponara and Poli did a poor match in defence. This was one of the keys to the defeat. Especially Saponara had such high positioning that SES hade to take his work time after time. Saponara cant play as a trequartista when he is LM. He did so yesterday.

Other than that SES seemed tired, Niang cant play as winger, Pazzini needs to improve, Bonera did to many mistakes, Rami was allright. Overall it was obvious that we had to little experience on the field. Poor positing, to individualistic, to offensive and there was no leader on the field.

Next match I want to see Muntari in midfield and hopefully Menez, Abate and De Sciglio can play. Balotelli can start but I still think he should be sold and replaced.

El Shaarawy - Balotelli - Menez
-- Muntari - Cristante - Poli --
De Sciglio - Alex - Rami - Abate
----------- Abbiati -----------
