@Senatore It cant be 85% the forwards fault if 95%+ you hit the first defender.
How can it be 85% the forwards fault if he can't even bypass the first man most of the time.
Maybe he's trying to get a corner?
our corners were attacking opportunities for opposition
they were hideous and short, they'd never reach the players
but whenever we sent it, we had nesta (roma), silva (barca) and cassano (lazio) to get them
too bad their the only times i can recall
one should never stop learning.
Dude is 25 yrs old
How much more does he need to be 'taught'
Two very good crosses![]()
A team built on the midfield and not on the attack, with attackers that may like to head the ball...yeah that can help a fullback when he crosses.
Fucking Milan, get back to developing the game on the midfield, it's a winning strategy for everyone.
exactly.Irrelevant. Abate's crossing is poor with Milan because he can't hit the target. He couldn't make the ball swerve well.
IIRC at least one of his two crosses missed the target today but they were praised because he finally properly swerved it. With Milan very often it just gets blocked or goes out of the line or safely into the GK's hands like it's a training session.
The fact that he's getting praised for making two successful crosses into the box shows how terrible his crossing is.![]()
1 good cross is a MOTM performance.
1 assist means he is better than Cafu.
Shutting down C. Ronaldo and Eto'o with Gattuso help means he is an elite defender.
Nesta shut down Messi means Abate did it.
Abate cross can't bypass the first man or ends up in row Z means Ibra and Pato movement was poor.
I remember people saying on this thread that Maggio is 10 times better than Abate.![]()
