It's unreal how he does that, superb dribbling! It's becoming a typical characteristic, running from outside the box, past 3-4 player and creating chances or scoring. He looks extremely good!

very interesting player, fast and quick, good passer, clinical, very efficient dribbler and very young, this is the same guy who we were being linked to for 4m right? i guess he costs 3 times as much now but he could well be worth it.

Does he have an EU passport?

Is he better than Nasri or Eriksen?

Is a fee of under 20 million honestly enough to secure him?

I would be cautions. He scored a wonder goal, but it was against a very, very poor team. They may be playing 4th or 3rd national division here in Brazil.

He's got talent, for sure, but I wouldn't point him a a certain Milan worthy player yet.

Watch some highlight videos, those runs aren't a one off. He might not be yet, but IMO he definitely can become one.

I agree with you, he can become World Class in the future, but he's still too young and possibly overpriced right now. He reminds me of Kaká, to be honest. But I think it's even a bigger gamble than Ganso.

Besides that, we need a midfielder to step up right away, and I think he's still too young for this. If it was a cheap deal, maybe it would be worth bringing him right away, but he'll be expensive. If Milan spends too much on him, we might be out of money to buy someone who is more certain to pull the strings right from the start.

The more I see of him the more I'm convinced how great he can become.

Is it true that he has a 80 million release clause?!

Yeah, but I think an offer of 15-25M would be sufficient. Expensive, but worth it IMO.

Chelsea signed Lucas Piazon, I think. Same first name, same club, but different player.

Lucas "Marcelinho" looks like a better player TBH, but Piazon is younger.

And yes, I know he doesn't like to be called Marcelinho.

Lucas will probably be better than Ganso.

Nobody knew Ganso when he was 18

Lucas is only 18 and is already recognized

. It all depends on the player and his will to play as a professional and focus on his career. There have been just too many 18 years old that have come up and gone away in a flash and never fulfilled their potential.

We haven't seen a proper classic world class no 10 play makers since Costa, Zidane and Riquelme retired.

And suddenly u guys expect 4 or 5 kids now to be the next great no 10s ?

Ozil just broke through last year and he looks like a real world class no 10 in the future.

But Ganso, Lucas, Lamella, Erikkson etc I'm pretty positive except 1 or maybe 2 everyone else will become disappointments because of the huge expectation on them. This is the most difficult position in soccer to fill and produces very very low number of world class players.

Ganso is the only one I have seen a little bit and he looks to have a great touch, ability to control tempo like what the greats done before etc but his knees r fragile and maybe his slow temp won't suit Europe.

Guys, i watched this video, some great plays by him but i had a suspicion about his height. Wiki states that its 1.72 m (5 ft 7 1⁄2 in) but surely he looks taller in that video.

Anyone feel the same?

Maybe he is taller i don`t know what to say.
Guys if Milan will take him in jannuary, he will be one of best our transfers, he is just perfect, we need a player like him.
I didn`t knew Sanchez when he was 18, and look how good he is now, Lucas has the talent maybe he can be like Messi, good shoot, very fast, fantastic dribbles.
I hope he is the player that Braida and other are working on, it will be very difficult to take him because he has a clause of 80milE and maybe he will prefer to stay longer in Brazil.

Lucas is good, but he is no messi no ronaldinho no Ronaldo (R9)
these players at his age where already world class...
Ronaldo was best player at age of 21 & at age of 16 already called up for the world cup 94
messi at 22 the best player
and dinho at the age of 17 was mesmerizing the world

Those were different times. Maldini was first XI regular at age of 16. Now we can't imagine even Merkel being first XI regular

Messi was regular at 19 or less so was Pato, its not the time but the quality of the player...
