Yeah he is worth pretty much whatever he is asking now. He is gaining popularity through CL and I am quite confident that if he wanted to leave now, teams would be lining up for him and would have no problem paying him 8-10M/year

8-10m/year seems reasonable and we are also willing to help him pay the fine as well. But again his agent would love to make commission from a transfer. Can't really blame either of them, they do what they do for a living and they have to go with the best options (in their views, we can't impose our views on them...). I hope Milan are going all in on this deal and Leao is also factoring in his love for the club when making his decision.

We can't really go out shopping for a winger of his qualities with 40-50m (PLUS 4 YEARS OF SALARIES ON TOP OF THAT) these days. 100m easily gone for a proper Leao's replacement. And then we don't even know if such replacement would actually work in Serie A........ Risks risks risks are present at every step along the way.

Do we scout youngsters, develop them and sell for profits? Or do we keep the best among them and become a Champions League contender year after year? That is a strategic question.

Under Berlusconi the answer would always be obvious. Under American management, I am not sure.
