We definitely need someone of Hakan´s mold in the attacking phase. I never could stand Hakan even when he played for us, but our attacks are so frantic, rushed and panicked. If we had someone like Hakan actually capable of keeping the ball and distributing it in the opponent´s half we would be much better off. Yesterday Sandro was the only one on the pitch who at times will give us a bit of control but that´s admittedly not his métier.

I agree he was quality in distributing the ball but I remember all of those blocked shots whenever he was near the opponents box. He also seemed slightly overweight here compared to his physique at inter.
