I NEVER said I wouldn't want Ederson I just think there's better options....I mean he sits on the bench at Lyon. He has only played 14 games for 2 goals (in Ligue 1),now maybe he has injuery I don't know(we don't need another midfielder who has injury issues!) but just b/c he is free and Brazilian does not convince me he's an upgrade at all over our current CAM KBP,Aqua or even Urby b/c he is not.

Ok. Let's get a few things right,

Ederson as a bosman transfer (or even for 5-6 million) is a good signing,

Fact #1 Ederson always had the skills and promise to become 'the new Kaka' as he was being touted to be back in 04-05 when big teams were first being linked to him.

Fact#2 Yes, he is injury prone.

Fact#3 The reason why he's on the bench now, however, is because the club owner Aulas is mad he hasn't signed a new contract. It's being said the new contract would have seen him taking a pay-cut because of Lyon's financial worries.

Fact#4 There's nothing that says he can't be an Urby/Boateng/Nocerino type of signing. He's arguably more talented then them in a pure footballing sense so as long as we can keep him away from hospital beds, he'll produce.

Ederson (Boateng sub), Montolivo(rotate with Aqua) and Mudingayi(can play anchor, short term replacemnt) should do it for the midfield. We should use that cash elsewhere, like perhaps a fullback or a young talented anchor for next season or maybe even one superstar signing to partner Zlatan. Tevez being the probable choice.

armero for 12mil would be fantastic, but the only problem is that he is a wingback and tassoti would need to train him like he did with abate to transform him into an lb for our system. to get hernanes we would have to pay shitloads cuz nazio are a dirty shitwad club who like to milk a lot of dollars. I,dont mind ledesma as anchor tbh besides he is affordable, he is an experienced player who has a good passing range and is strong too although his only drawback is his lack of pace, but then mvb isn't really fast either.

@Ibra11, Sneider is no longer a LCM and he is more as AMF.

I prefer Ederson "even if he's pathetic in the meanwhile" over Sneider although the latter is much talented and experienced than the first.

True true. I put Sneijder in my formation as a cm because we need his creativity. He is in the top 5 creative midfielders of the world imo, he is just in a shitty club.
