Wonder if it's because the players are not yet convinced to stay at Milan. Regardless, they're still under contract with us and if we don't get the offers that we ask for them they have to play. Don't care much about Maignan but it's essential that we keep Rabiot. I believe Carnesecchi is the best Serie A keeper, would love if we could buy him.

The Athekame deal has confirmed one thing - this time they don't play around with negotiations and everything is kept tight. Information only released when deals are done. Same thing happened with Ramos and, to some extent, Gila.

We need Italians plus homegrown players for the list of 25 to present for Europa League or else they will cut down the roster from 25 to 22. Also learned that in Serie A we only have room for one more non-european after signing Kostic. Not sure that if he's loaned out or sent to Milan Futuro it would get us a second one.

Another curious regulation that I didn't know about is that we can sign one English player and one Albanian and they will count as being part of the EU coalition.

As for our young players, we went from keeping 3 to loan them all out which shows our luck of confidence in them. People say you have to keep the young ones and not be afraid to use them even when they make a mistake here and there, but then they agree to the opposite solution.

Based on rumors our midfielders, if one considers Musah a wing-back, the ones sure to stay as double pivots are Modric, Rabiot, and Jashari. If we get the Danish guy that's 4 players for 2 spots so keeping Comotto as a ffth gives at least a little insurance in case of injuries.

Amorim played both Camarda and Comotto vs Chelsea but not Cisse. I thought he was being rested because coming off an injury but it looks like he's in the same situation as Tomori, Fofana, and Athekame that won't be kept. Personally I was hoping that he could convince the coach but it seems now that when he said of not being afraid to play the young ones he wasn't being honest.

Keeping RLC to play him as RAM is a stupid idea. Doesn't press, gets usually dispossed after a dribbling or two, his passing in the opponent's area is suspect, doesn't score, and is lazy getting back on defense.
