In hindsight, I want to thank Cagliari for doing what they did.Cagliari..![]()
A year left on his contract, no competition for his signature... I wonder what sort of club would buy him in that sort of situation???I would love to sell RLC, except ... who would buy him? Not likely to happen any time soon
I don’t think that’s the case.
in July Gerry doubled down saying zlatan doesn’t work for milan. Hes an operating partner for Red Bird.
what is more likely is that Gerry is having him talk to Red Bird directly and stay out of day to day Milan interaction
Unless theres some explicit statement stating otherwise, Ibra is very much around. Just not visiting the players and jumping into transfer decisions directly.
fodder until proven otherwiseOh RnB
we dont give youth chances
we do and they’re fodder
It’s never enough unless it’s prime Pato?
This is reason 37 of why italy cant quality for the World Cupfodder until proven otherwise
Not at all. He’s giving Red Bird feedback on what to do and not to doI.e. a position of no relevance as long as he has kept away from the players and transfer decisions he can keep making his IG reels
I'd just keep Santi at this point, especially if the only offer on the table is a loan + option. He was scoring for fun in the Eredivisie for back-to-back seasons and did it in the CL too, even against Bayern Munich. There's clearly a player in there who can do good things, while at the same time he's still within striking distance for Camarda to genuinely challenge him and push each other for that back-up spot behind Ramos. And most importantly, Santi is already here. Keeping him costs us nothing, replacing him does – and I'd much rather spend whatever money we have left on actual pressing needs like a starting CCB.
Im not annoyed or getting suspicious anymore. Im now hoping and wishful that Serie A dies and it goes to Eredevise or Belgium league level. When they see the decline and it starts hurting their pockets, its gonna be to late
I'd go with Tapsoba + one more for LCB (I kind of see Pavlovic as a liability), Højbjerg for DM, Stojkovic for CM/AM as a cheap option that might prove to be a big upgrade, and maybe one more WB. Pulisic, Cisse, Rabiot, and Stojkovic, even excluding Leao, are more than enough to cover the AM spot, especially since Pulisic and Stojkovic bring an extra dimension by being able to play on both wings (Stojkovic as an 8 as well). The rest is covered. For the CB position, Todibo is also an option, he's a bit risky, but I think he could be molded into a truly dominant center-back.CM would actually be needed if Rabiot stays primarily at RAM, and we're not counting on Ricci, Fofana, Bondo as it seems.
One worker/destroyer profile (Hojbjerg, Musah) + a creative midfielder (Modric/Jashari/Comotto) and we're set. Jashari lacks Modric's qualities, but he's been very good at pressing, something not to underestimate.
I think Jashari will get plenty of playing time since Luka has to be managed responsibly, even Comotto should get his amount of minutes as it is long season on three fronts.
Also, I'm not comfortable going with 2 strikers through the season, unless Amorim sees Pulisic or someone from AM as makeshift striker in case of emergency, which I doubt.
I would keep both Comotto and Camarda, they'll get their chances and minutes.
IN: CCD (Dias, Min, Tapsoba, Hancko kind of profile), Hojbjerg, Mazraoui and Zirkzee (loan)
OUT: Tomori, Fofana, Ricci (loan w option), Estupinan (?), Bondo, Nkunku (loan w option), Leao (?)
^ Heathens take note. Here’s the final stance on Leao
1. we sell him now and it potentially creates a need to sign someone else which we won’t have leverage with little time left in the mercato. It can worsen the team until winter which we can’t afford.
2. Can Amorim get him to put in defensive duties as well? We saw of glimpse in pre season so it’s a yes until it’s a no
3. Leao and Cisse in the position that was played yesterday can absolutely hold us until the winter transfer window
4. Leao had a sub optimal year last year. Playing in a role that isn’t for him. And he still did well vs his teammates with goal production. In a role that is clearly not suited for him……..
5. selling him now means a new player needs to learn the system with the season already started. Leao has had exposure and should know what Amorim wants by now
keep him. use him for some production. He’ll unlock a game or two. Work to sell him in winter. It’s too much risk and disruption now.
we also need to prioritize a CB. God help us if one of our starting CBs get hurt. we need an upgrade there first as it stands

And this why I would give Amorim a bit more time than usual to build this team.I think they are right to give space to Camarda Cisse Comotto. People always complain about how there’s no space for these players at Italian clubs meanwhile every other league is littered with youth players sprinkled about. At some point you have to trust them and give them space, the lower levels of Serie A and the EL are pretty easy they should do fine
One of the Bayern directors this summer said how they are embracing the approach of only really bringing in high level players from the transfer market and then using the youth system to fill in a ton of gaps. With the way player valuations are going, I feel like clubs have no choice but to embrace this approach

@GeneralKush said in his video that he doesn't think we are interested in inacio. We were until the Gila signing.
Yildiz is so overrated. Have seen him play enough. He is nothing special.Yildiz got hurt, he is going to miss Juve Milan in two weeks
Only a matter of time before he becomes a sell out and well a full time jounro aka the Indian Romano/moretto
