They're just rebuilding. Viola needed a lot of new players - specially midfielders - after losing almost a whole team the last two windows. Behrami, Montolivo, Kharja + Gila, Amauri, Silva, Gamberini, De Silvestri...

They paid for all this players with the Behrami/Gamberini transfer to Napoli and Gila to Genoa still in January.

We are looking at Kaka because it is the option MGT want , won't cost 25+ million and may cone on loan with payments over a couple of years , his wages are 9 I believe so 4.5 million 9 in total which is a lot , but Ibra's was nearly 20.
Sahin and Khedira I still think will cost 13 million for Sahin and 18 -20 for Khedira , money MGT are not prepared to spend .
It's all about low cost unfortunately , and while I'd prefer Jovetic or Hernanes or Ericksen , Kaka looks way more likely and is better than almost all our attacking midfielders and creative mids infact he is and most likely the best we can do nowadays .
