Gazzetta:The alternative to Yanga Mbiwa is Andreolli.
If Galliani don't sign Kaka the alternatives are Tevez, Dzeko and Matri. However, it's depends on City's moves on the transfer market.

Allegri:"Our goal is to advance to the next round in CL, maybe even to 1/4.But the first objective is to remain among the top three in Italy and qualify to the CL.Boateng will remain our trequartista. If Kaka comes he'll play in front of the defense."

Embarrassing for a club of Milan's stature

That doesn't make sense. Allegri tells Kaká would play in front of defense, but if Milan fail to sign him, they'd go for Matri, Dzeko and Tevez. Allegri would play them in front of defense too?

He was telling this laughingly, but with Allegri you never know.

omg :fp:

you said he was horrible, he was never horrible, the whole TEAM had a bad game against arsenal, not just thiago.

against jube? I blame antonini just as much for giving pepe so much space to cross, best defender in the world whether you like it or not.

you want to flame him for a mistake against arsenal when the whole team was horrible? don't let me start on abate.

really, you need to stop saying this to avoid looking like a bitter n00b.

I'm starting to see a pattern with you. Pato is the best in the world now thiago was 'overhyped'... Thiago is arguably one of the top 3 defenders in the world when he was average. When he was on his game... pretty legit candidate for best.

Exactly. I don't doubt Allegri would do that too.

Really? people say he is not flexible at all as a coach and doesn't have the balls to change his system at all and playing kaka in front of the defense would definately change the tactics, and you wouldn't doubt that he'd do that... Looks like you're gonna get into a fight with those that are against allegri because, acording to them, he doesn't have a plan B.

I don't think he would do that, or at least not as a regista but as a CM with someone like flamini next to him... it would give him freedom to run forward but also to creat from a deeper position... IMO he should play as an AM/SS but boateng is playing there atm

Or maybe its his way of telling that we dont need him but we need a regista instead

about kaka in front of defense, allegri is basically telling management get me a fucking regista instead of chasing unneeded kaka

We should hijack Alex Song from Arsenal. Great young player. Love having him as my captain on FM.

Any rumours about Dzagoev or Strootman linked to ANOTHER team lately?

And wtf I just saw Ayew was linked to Inter... not that they would get him but it pisses me off that they at least show interest for good players

the cross was going to come in either way, if thiago covered matri better, he would have never scored the goal. im just throwing examples. thiago is a 100% replaceable player. this year thiago did nothing special aside from the goal against barca that made me go crazy over him. 2010-2011 he really did make my willie grow big but 2011-2012 thiago wasnt at his best. thats why i call him horrendous. i dont mean that he's a shit cb, i mean for his standard, for being the best cb in the world, mistakes like that in big games like those should have never happened. i dont give 2 fucks if the entire team was shit against arsenal, the best cb in the world shouldnt be making such terrible mistakes. nesta at his age would have never pulled shit like that.

I think he's unflexible regarding not changing the system. However, his system is quite flexible during games. In the end, I think Allegri can be called both flexible and unflexible, depending on the point of view.

But when I say I don't doubt he puts Kaká to play as a regista, I didn't think in flexibility, but in his history of putting player in new positions or roles. Boateng, Emanuelson and even Nocerino, that despite remaining a center-midfielder, now has a much different role than the one he had before Milan. He also tried Pirlo as a mezz'ala shortly before he got injured.

Those are players who were unproven to reach they're max potential on certain positions ... however its well known that the worldclass Kaka is a AM/SS.

That's a good point. He's probably joking, but let's see.

Or maybe he wants to take his "role finding" to the next level

I do think that Silva and Nesta together are really good, but if you take Nesta away, then Thiago lacks the leadership quality, and also becomes really vulnerable. I think he will be exposed this year in PSG and will get a chance to become a still better defender.

It sounds crazy for sure, but also extremely interesting. I want it to happen just to see how it works.

You never know, he's lost pace but he still got the passing, ball controll and vision. The thing that worries me is only the lack of a destroyer and ball winner. I think a Gattuso is needed to make it work. Monto-Kaka-Noce infront of our current defense doesn't look so good.

But offensively...

Monto-kaka-Noce
Boateng
Pato-Cassano/Robinho

doesn't look so bad.
