As you should know Lavezzi and Honda are different types of players. It's odd to compare the two.

Nonetheless, as far as WC performances are concerned, Honda is much more highly ranked in Player Rankings than Lavezzi consistently across several indexes. (e.g. FIFA : Lavezzi the 308th.)

As an option, OK, but his ability will be very restricted if he is fixed rigidly on either right or left side. He is best utilized to take on the role of a mobile, creative playmaker, centrally positioned, changing positions frequently with other attacking players. In the 4-3-3 formation, we can best utilize him playing either the right sided mid. in the midfield of the three △ , or the centre of the ▽ midfield.

Honestly, I wasn't impressed with Vrsaljko. I thought he was worst player on field aside from Pletikosa for much of the matches he played... I guess different people see different things. He only played because of Pranjic' injury, and got burned on numerous occasions ... Remember what I am saying if he indeed does come to us.

I'd much rather try to get rid of literally every fodder player, and get Cerci-Darmian-Perin + 1 midfielder.

I'm sorry, I just disagree. I am saying it's pointless to compare players who have different abilities and characteristics, and who therefore usually function differently and take on different roles.

I don't know your definition of world class, in this case.

I know but lavezzi is much better talent overall regardless of the position they both play in imo. The player who would have a better impact in milan's system would have to be lavezzi if i were to compare their abilities and end product. As in i prefer having a winger who fits the 4 3 3 / 4231 system pippo is trying to implement. Even if it were a 4 3 1 2 system, i dont think honda is suitable for the playmaker role in fodder a based on his performances last season. However, i would like to see him stay at milan and prove that he has what it takes to step up in a big team because he is a lot better than the other nincompoops we have like muntari etc.

I thought Lavezzi was awesome for Napoli when partnered with Hamsik-Cavani. Cavani stayed up top, Hamsik dropped into midfield, and Lavezzi, while helping out in defense, generally stayed up top and counterattacked lightning fast with Cavani. He also played on the Left.. and SES plays there.

I don't know how he will fit in with us tbh.

we can't buy WC players at every postion in one season
Vrsaljko is a good prospect, and he has played other games than in the WC alone
this would be a good signing
