Just to be fair (and trust me I have absolutely zero allegiance to gerry) but wasnt the ENTIRE NARRATIVE that Maldini "received guarantees" when he signed after all that drama last summer?

So what's the fucking problem now?

The cheque is for 50m only.

Considering the journalists literally wrote that the possibilities range from "Maldini getting what he wants..." to "Maldini could be fired..."

Maybe it's because Milan gets more attention than Juve or Inter? In the wake of Ibra's retirement, Milan is at the center-of-attention, so why not capitalize on that?

They reported Gerry was on his way back to the U.S. already. I wonder if he hauled ass out of Italy before Maldini resigns & he sees the uproar.

My fave part is NO ONE knowing what the beef is, but knows it's thicc and the outcome can be any of the possible outcomes that exist in human reality.

Tomori is at a more advanced stage of his career, but Kalulu and Thiaw are young guns. These guys will need time to become stable players. Kalulu has already played a lot of minutes at the highest level. He will become a monster in the future. Thiaw is a great talent.
I think Tomori has been given a lot more shit than he deserves this year. He consistently has the most difficult defensive assignment, and I expect him to grow.

I really rate all three of them, and they're all really young for a position that requires so much experience (along with CM)--and reading of the game. I can't wait to see them when they reach their primes.

Gerry already went to USA, does that mean Maldini will resign tonight or tomorrow? Or media knows shit and Maldinis job never was in danger?

Don't care about the decision, either way it goes. More important thing

Didn't Maldini bang the drum the whole season about we are not the old Milan and we can't spend like in Berlusconi's golden era?

The initial Berlusconi Milan was breaking transfer records. The transfer record now is 225 mil for Neymar. So there is a big gap between paying 225 mil for on one player and having total mercato budget of 50 mil! I don't think Maldini expected transfer record spending but not 50 mil either after CL semis and 3 straight CL qualifications

I was merely stating that Tomori is at a more advanced stage of his career compared to Kalulu and Thiaw. These young players will have flaws that they need to work out over time. I think Tomori is playing at a high level.

After this morning's confrontation, the risk that Paolo and the Rossoneri separate is high: many design differences are on the table. Massara would also leave with him, while Pioli would remain in his place. (Bianchin)

If Maldini leaves and we get stuck with Pioli I'm done. At least take the bald idiot with you.

Once I read the report from Di Marzio and then MilanNews... I literally got so annoyed over the panic. Someone is telling them something, but like... when the options literally range from "Maldini will get what he wants!" to "he will be fired." I dunno, man, it's really weird.

I'm ignoring it all. It's about economical moves of the club. Maldini will stay.

Thiaw > Kalu.
Even two years younger.
Kalulu last season was better than thiaw this season. Don’t forget how insane he and tomori were at the end of the season, eating Osimhen alive amongst others. Kalulu was amazing at everything except aerial stuff.

I probably wouldn’t disagree if you said thiaw had a higher ceiling, just based on his physical traits and his passing on top of that. But we need to see more of both before deciding something like this.

The folks at R&B have more mood swings than women who are in their menopause. One moment they are excited about a bullshit rumour and the next minute they are ready to jump off a bridge.

Tomori sucks brother. He overloads his defensive work. Not a very smart defender. But that's just my opinion

Serie A transfer window

The market will open on Saturday, July 1 and close on Friday, Sept. 1, expected at 7 p.m. BST / 2 p.m. ET.

So, you are saying there is no good reason for the folks on R&B to piss their panties?

Tbh if you look at things OBJECTIVELY you can understand why RedBird want more of a say in the mercato. Last summer, M&M asked for complete autonomy and they completely blew it after RedBird granted their wishes. Here's a few highlights:-

*ZERO sales
*Passed up Dybala for free (26 goal contributions in all comps this season) in order to sign CDK
*Passed up Enzo to sign Sanches but ended up with Vranckx (Benfica sold Enzo for 100m)
*Passed up Muani to sign Origi (EF will collect 90m+ from his sale)
*Spent 35m on CDK, Vranckx + Dest who never play
*Redeemed injury prone Florenzi for 3m and handed him a lucrative 3 year contract with 6m gross wages
*Redeemed fridge delivery driver Messias for 6m
*Handed Origi a lucrative 4 year contract with 5m gross wages
*Renewed Baka for another year with 5m gross wages
*Renewed Ibra for another year with 2m gross wages

Following these disastrous decisions, we limped our way into the top 4 solely due to Juve's points penalty. Therefore, you can't really blame Cardinale for wanting to ensure that history doesn't repeat itself. Also, he recently said that qualifying for the CL was of the utmost importance from a financial perspective which PROVES he's only here to make money.

Having said that, I think letting go of Maldini would be a HUGE mistake simply because he's already proven to be a very capable SD in the past who built a Scudetto winning side on a shoestring budget whilst signing the likes of Maignan, Tomori, Kalulu, Leao, Theo, Tonali, Bennacer etc at reasonable prices in comparison to their market values today. However, Maldini needs to do some serious soul searching and figure out how he went from having the midas touch to getting everything catastrophically wrong last summer (bar Thiaw).

Also, Maldini has created a nice, family environment at the club and is the glue that holds everything together (and an ASSET in transfer negotiations) and if he were to leave then the self-belief the team has built in recent years (which didn't exist before) will be gone too. Therefore, the best approach is to continue together but Maldini also needs to accept that he isn't the one paying the bills and needs some supervision until he can PROVE otherwise.

There are far too many to name past & present
Haaland i still don't think is that special. His novelty factor should end soon. Anyone can look good in that loaded city team. Vini nhaa. Not that guy. Whines like a bitch too.

One thing i learnt though is that piece of shit roy keane, fucking meat pie munching cunt ruined the career of haalands father. Bitch is thr most untalented footballer I have ever seen. Somehow gets paraded around like he is a modric or he'll even a pirlo. Van bommel defecates on that pommy degenerate.

Apart from that, with regards to leao. Only time will tell. Give leao an oshimen and a proper RW like ismaila or georges for example, he is going to rip serie a up for the next 5 years and win us 3 4 scudetti easy. Possible ucl winner too.

Roy Keane didn't end Father Haaland career. The knee Keane hit wasn't the knee that ends his career it was the other knee. Father Haaland played a couple of days later after that challenge by Keane.

Haaland scored volumes of goals with every team he has played on before he ever played for Citeh. Molde Red Bull Salzburg Dortmund and his record with Norway which is like a goal a game. Haaland might not be the technical god like other great striker before him but he his movement and finishing makes him elite level.

RedTird bought the club 10 months ago and apparently today they discussed the future of the club for the first time.
Either both sides are re-tarded or it's all bullshit. Gerry is a nobody in football but I doubt he is that stupid to push Maldini away.
