Football isn't an exact science, there are 100's of different reasons why a club is successful , I would say at least 70% is down to man management and the mental aspect. Redbird have ripped up the script of a project that was paying dividends.

How many years was Maldini in that role?
Was the expectation to get a scudetto and a CL final this quickly!? Even he admits, we were ahead of schedule and our targets. We didn't really set out to win the league last year and we didn't target a semi final. We achieved both. We managed to tie down Bennacer, Theo, Maignan and Leao and build a team spirit. The only mistakes you can say he made was CDK, who everyone was on board with to be honest. It was the exact profile we needed. I don't think he can be blamed. And perhaps not getting a better alternative for ST and RW. That's it!
