I like this take.

Federer was by far the more enjoyable to watch. I appreciate the aesthetic aspect of the sport, which is why I gravitated toward Milan and not some blunt instrument mouth breather club like Juventus or Inter.

All 3 have a legitimate argument.

Sampras would kill all of them obviously ;)

Federer is aestethics in perfection.

When tennis teachers want to show their students video studies of how to play those rackets, how to move, to serve, smash.... almost every imaginable point in this sport... they'll show them Federer videos, not Nadal or Djokovic videos.

When you watch Djokovic, Murray or Nadal play tennis, you can see that what they are doing is on an incredible high bar, how difficult playing tennis on that level is, how much training and dedication it takes to even think about playing like them. You see them sweat. You hear them scream. It's a constant struggle while they ask their bodies to do seemingly impossible things.

But when you watch Federer, everything seems so effortless. So intuitive. So easy. Every movement flows so naturally into the next one. It's like a dance. Sometimes I could swear he wasn't even sweating. Of course he was. Of course he was in as much physical pain as the others. But you never saw it. Federer transcended tennis to a level no one thought it's even possible, and he did that by making it look like a walk in the park.

Both Nadal and Djokovic said multiple times during their careers that Federer set the bar and that they wouldn't play on the levels they played during their prime if it wasn't for him who lead the way.

Numbers are numbers, and I can't win a debate against numbers, obviously. But I'd nonetheless bet that in 20 years, people looking back will say Federer left a bigger and especially more significant mark to the sport than Nadal and Nole.

On his CL trophy from that Barca - Chelsea game, does it say "disgrace"?
It should :o

Bep is just overrated shit.
Imagine his peak glory era is shrouded in corruption

Needing 12 fucking years to win another CL with an obscenely expensively assembled team gets swept under the rug because of the utter deluge of media hype he swims in

Pep has never been genuinely criticized for 1.2 DECADES of consistent CL flopping. It's always "oh he just overthought it" and "if they played 10 times City/Bayern would have won 8 times" etc.

The other reason he gets a pass is because he won 5 premiership titles in 7. The premier league itself gets the most media hype as well. Meanwhile la Liga has been the most dominant force in Europe.

So you'll excuse me for having my opinion about Pep beyond the "professor" nonsense. The fact remains that he ended up playing outside his usual style and squeaked past an unfashionable Inter (is there even a single Inter player who is rated on the world stage?) ..to FINALLY win a CL after 12 years. With respect to playing with the Messi team....Luis Enrique took them over and won the treble convincingly and he isn't usually considered in the GOAT discussion. The guy was in the right place at the right time to get the best player in the world as well as the undisputed most talented Spanish team ever.....and the momentum of that success has carried him ever since

too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini
I'm terrified.
Don’t worry no one will hold it against you if it all goes wrong. I mean this is a very rational place overflowing with people who epitomise common sense and understanding.

September couldn’t come soon enough.

Transfer window has become more and more my least favorite part of the game.

Just BS for 2-3 months.

You guys are too obsessed with what is happening at other clubs

How you gonna convince yourself that inter is over after last nights performance?. You been saying the same thing for 2 years nonstop and they keep proving you wrong every time
Their financial problems are real. At some point, their problems will catch up to them. But you are right, that has not happened yet.

Rumors about Marcos Acuna.
And that Rebic & Origi sold to Turkish clubs.
This would be great news except Turkish teams don’t pay for players. They only offer big enough wages but try to get players for free or next to nothing.

Which is precisely why sitting back and observing is the best policy. When the window closes it is always fascinating how people attribute blame without a clear understanding of how circumstances have influenced matters and how those situations have transpired.

They immediately jump on bandwagons abandoning logic and trusting in character assassination via less than reputable sources who make a living from selling “stories”

Chelsea paid almost 20 million for him from Inter Primavera even though he had not played for the senior team. Cant think of any Primavera player in Italy that has cost even half of that. Scouts knew about him for sure.

Hopefully next season Milan drive the team bus around San Siro before every home game to greet the fans. A shame Bari let promotion slip away in the last few minutes, better fan base for Serie A instead of Cagliari.

That all depends on whether he wants to start playing Adli or not.
On this, we agree.

Adli and Kamada rotate at CAM, Leao and Chuk Mustang roles, someone plays CF, we buy a DM and RB upgrade.

Bayern was European champion when he get the job. Bayern totally dominated all the Europe that year. They didn’t became the champion with a lucky game. They were also finalist the year before. Pep take that machine (that machine also dominated peps Barca 7-0 in aggregate, juve 4-0 in aggregate) and made toothless in a year. He couldn’t even reach to final in 3 years. Also he fucked that great Bayern vertical football and played them snoozy style passing football.

Then he went to city , he had by far the most money in the world with psg (later manu and chelsea spent ridiculous money in a bad way) . He dominated the league but he always choked in cl against Lyon against tottenham against always weaker clubs. He would choke this year too. Inzaghi beat him tactically. Incredible goals missed. Inter overperformed city underperformed nobody can deny this. He is the biggest cl choker in the world.

For Europe We can only say he was successful in barca. He got 2 cl but 1 of them is absolute robbery. Drogba told it is fucking disgrace after the match. Chelsea game was one of the 5 most shameful matches in the history (for example one of them Italy - South Korea wc 2002 , total robbery , not mistake) . So he won 1 fair cl with prime Messi , Suarez , xavi, iniesta, puyol , Dani alves etc

So as last words especially in Bayern heynckes was 3 feet above pep. He got the best team in the world and fucked it

Huynckes!!!!!!

Has to be the biggest fraud out there. Dude got gifted 2 ucls with teams that were built by Capello and Van Gaal

Also u want to talk about choking

Man lost a UCL Final in his HOME stadium to Roberto Di Matteo 😆

Bayern-Munich-losing-finalists.jpg

Huynckes lmfao

I don't give a fuck about the majority opinion.
Most ppl are sheep who believe what they are told to think. The majority of the world happily took an unsafe and ineffective vaccine, thinking they were doing the right thing 🤷🏽‍♂️

They'll do it again if and when told / coerced to.
It's even better if, as is the case with Pep you actually have some facts on your side such as his winning record and the fact that he did indeed win the CL
