Sacchi set the foundation on which Capello built. Capello was still incredible, no doubt. But Milan before Sacchi was coming from a very dark period, including recent relegation to Serie B.

If we give Mike the renewal then it will be difficult to sell him. This season he is quite injury prone and made quite a few mistakes, his contract is expiring in 2026 and if we don't sell this summer, he will be on 50% discount next summer.
