Why type those three when you can type the likes of Meite, Mandzukic, Pellegri, Ballo Toure, bringing back Bakayoko to sit on the bench for 2 seasons, Vranckx, Lazetic, Vasquez, and Cee Dee Kay.

Meite, worked for us for that season. Mandzukic was a similar risk to Giroud. Pellegri, cut price loan and 3rd or 4th string signing so who cares. Ballo Toure dumb signing. Bakayoko, benched by Pioli and then came on a couple times showed something decent, then back on the bench. Vranckx was a 19/20yo back up option. Lazetic, failed youth signing. Vazquez, needed to be signed so that we can have an additional EU spot once we sold or let him go, it was a tactical signing for the transfer market.
CDK with a new system and manager playing him in a more preferred position, seems like a signing that we could have used this year.
