I can believe Redbird could do this.
Our squad would be more shittier.

back to back like ancelotti in CL '04, '05:o
just re-watched a replay of the 04' la coruna match today
the amount of personal mistakes by the players would make RnB hang pioli in the duomo if it happened during this time
cafu looked like brown calabria

Yet Carlo wasn't scathed by this and this isn't remembered against him
more shocking is the fact that another bottling happened in an even larger stage in Istanbul just a year later

but I guess life is easy when daddies silvio and perez give you all the war chest available in the footballing world
less easy when you're managing a midtable everton or napoli

Just a quick analysis on Conte's options if he were to return to football this upcoming season.

EPL > Cannot see any EPL club taking him after the Spurs calamity, even clubs like Man Utd with a revamped structure under Ratcliffe won't take him. Maybe Newcastle, but that's a long shot.

La Liga > Barcelona only option, but can hardly see them go for Conte. Simeone staying at Atleti.

Ligue 1 > Only PSG is an option - given their ultimate goal is to win the Champions League, I'd be surprised if they went for him

Bundesliga > Bayern won't go for his profile in the event they fire Tuchel, Dortmund v. likely to go for someone else

Serie A > Roma & Napoli will be the obvious ones looking to sign him. Juventus would mayhaps be the strongest contender if they, surprisingly, decide to part ways with Allegri.

Then there's the outside bets like the Saudi league or a return to Italy's NT. Neither seem doable IMO.

In essence, we should be in the driving seat as we're first and foremost the most realistic option for Conte, but we can also provide a ready-made squad and lots of wiggle room to buy the players he wants. If it's between us and Napoli/Roma for Conte, I have no doubts whatsoever that we're light years ahead for his signature.

Im reading some news, Milan asked for Broja but it did not happen because of financial issues.

Now he just joined Fulham on loan

Edit: he would be perfect for our team, the team of injuries.

We're just strolling around today lol. I bet that Furlani half-heartedly tells himself "it doesn't hurt to try" before making a phone call to clubs/agents.

🎙️ Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto in the "live" podcast about Milan's market for defenders:

"These last few hours of the market, there have been a series of proposals from different clubs in Milan for defenders. The last two that went to him were Cenk Özkacar of Valencia and Charlie Cresswell of Leeds United.

Different formulas, as far as we understand, but after being evaluated, they did not fully convince the leaders.

A last attempt was made yesterday for the defender of Brest, Brassier, offering money and Pellegrino's card, but the French club has refused and has not agreed to sell at this end of the market. Milan preferred to stay like this"

There are far too many to name past & present
Not true. Most of the successful coaches were midfielders previously, some defenders but rarely strikers.

So you're admitting our owners aren't that stingy after all eventhough Maldini said otherwise, eh? Gonna note this down for future debates.

Yeah quote me bro lol...

Obviously that money came from the Sandro sale and a good CL run, so one could argue the owners didn't spend of their cash?

But that's obviously a thought process that fits a certain narrative lol x
