Push Adli and Tijiani up to create (they both have decent creativity and Bennacer would be better here too) and get a serious striker and we can reach deep in the champions league every year

You have to give credit where credit is due. Despite Giroud's age and limitations athletically on the field, he still produces. It's not always pretty and can be frustrating watching him move slowly on the pitch and watch him be non-existent for 95% of the match, but he still produces. Power to him.

Great goal by Adli. He has talent and his long range vision and passing is solid. Hes not a DM. CM/CAM is his future.

Great goal from Theo. That pass from Giroud was smooth.

Reijnders had a nice game. His form picked back up these last 2-3 games. He had a little rough patch of games before which is to be expected.

Puli had one of his best games and deserved a goal contribution. He created a lot of chances. That nut meg was smooth, he has a few of those this season. He came to Milan with something to prove, took a paycut and seems to be finding his rhythm. Hes never had this run of consistent starts and minutes, so I think hes starting to flourish. Time will tell.

That run from Musah was nice. If he scored that San Siro would of went nuts.

RLC isnt a CAM. Hes atrocious in the final third. Hes a better RWB option over Musah. Low key him at RWB and Theo at LWB would be nice but would need 3 solid CB's for defensive coverage.

Gabbia was solid.

Calabria was solid but canceled all that out with his boneheaded penalty giveaway. That cant be done as a captain. The following 10 Min were shaky but the squad regrouped.

Good to see Okafor back. Hopefully he can stay healthy. Hes a great rotational guy to have. He looks better then Chuk so far.

Performance for sure. Musah is up there as well because of his age. Hes still very young and has great potential. Could be the best value signing long term.

Adli should be playing over Musah and Pobega. Reijnders Bennacer RLC Adli and Musah are a solid rotation. Not sure we have the luxury to replace Krunic with a starter quality player.

Buongiorno makes sense. Walks into main team and he’s an association player. It doesn’t necessarily mean 3 at the back. Even with a back 4 you need 3 starter quality center backs. Kjaers gone next season, and I have a feeling maybe Kalulu too.

Quiet winter isnt too surprising. They did the minimum with Terraciano and Gabbia. You could make a case for another midfielder but i dont think theres enough reason for a huge transfer there.

Think we’re approaching having a full squad. Next season if they dont renew Kjaer and Giroud, therell only be three positions to fill. Center back, center mid, and striker. If they close Buongiorno now, then its only two moves in the summer. Also with the exit of Mirante Krunic Kjaer and Giroud, the only players in their 30s in the team will be Sportiello and Florenzi.

I'm going through various options and scenarios, and if we drop out the EL and struggle into 4th, while securing the stadium deal....we might not have the biggest budget.

Is selling a star to fund players better than keeping stars, spending what we have on a position or two that we desperately need and perhaps welcoming back CDK who can cover a few positions up front?

Also, under a new coach that knows what the fuck he's doing, and doesn't cripple players for funzies, this squad doesn't need much to challenge properly for the title next year.
