Benz in Giroud´s place doesn't seem too extreme a change, Giroud is not a poacher. I don't like him as a person but if we get him for 2 years on an ok wage it would be a good move.

On a sidenote I don't understand why Saudi think signing players for hundreds of millions in wages will raise their profile, most of them seem to want out already. If I was them I would had currupted UEFA officials to make the Saudi league join the CL thats the only way they will ever be competitive

Doesn't feel like a Conte midfield, he would probably add 1-2 defensively strong and physical players. Generally I would not be sure about like half of our midfielders under Conte. RLC, Adli and Reijnders don't scream Conte picks exactly.

Looking at what he played for example:

Juve: Pirlo, Vidal, Pogba
Italy: DDR, Giaccherini, Parolo
Chelsea: Kante, Fabregas, Drinkwater
Inter: Brozovic, Barella, Vecino/Eriksen/Vidal

His mid at Inter is maybe the closest to our players, but still our current mid would be by far the most lightweight in his career. I am pretty sure he would put in a typical Conte addition of a not nice to watch - defensive first mid.
