Pep identifies certain characteristics that fit his style and then goes for such players. Works for him. That's one thing everyone should give him credit for.
If anything, vast majority of his players produce their best years with him.
I question his taste of players much more than his managing skills.
Its why how much money are spent shouldnt be a decisive factor to judge a manager.
A manager is better judged for the quality of his squad not the cost which should be a main factor for the SD or the taste of the manager.

Think I saw someone say Reijnders-Xavi Simons-Zirkzee as our new Dutch Trio -

Perhaps it'll be this guy instead of Simons - who I think is impossible. Being linked to him today. Doesn't really make sense, unless Leao leaves unexpectedly. All the big EPL sides want him. Will likely cost 45 mil GBP.
17 goals and 8 assists. Does come central and look to score more than Rafa.

I'd love to to get him. I think he could be a Dutch national team player soon. He just needs a higher level. He's clutch, scores with both feet, and facilitates and is very confident. He scored a game winner last year against Liverpool in the EPL. He'd be a great rotational player that can be had on the cheaper end.

Didn't know his dad, Stefano Nava was a CL winner here.

Sadly, I think they demand a huge fee already and I can't argue against it. I think he's ready. I doubt he accepts being a bench player here. Maybe at a Liverpool. And even then, he probably decides to go to a Newcastle or Spurs instead and start straight away.

I'd prefer David over Sesko, but still think zirkzee is the best fit...wouldn't complain too much if we signed David though
Schira writes he may also go to Inter, they will most probably sell Thuram or Lautaro if he doesn't extend

I think I asked this once - Andrei Coubis - given a contract to 2027 - but where is he? Captain of the Primavera last year, had played for Romania U21 even - and is doing nothing at all this season? Has his contract been terminated then?

You watch replays of Milan from the 90s to mid 2000s when the team was at the top of the world, and some games the stadium wasn't even close to being sold out. Post covid something happened, I don't think we've had any game with less than 65k attendance, with most games being virtually sold out. What explains this?

Injured his knee badly this summer, he had some potential, but lets see how he will recover. Maybe he will come back by the end of the season

The thing that is the most questioning for me is what happend to our injuries?
Its been like 2 months already since we have a pretty much full squad available? Not counting Pobega...

That Lecce away-Udine home-Napoli away ruined our season

I remember Maldini when he first was appointed as Sporting Director. He said we should bring the enthusiasm back, and they did, maybe because every year we did something better than the last one.

I've read that Pioli changed the training session, he gives more rest to the players.

Right around the time Gerry/Furlani spoke up about injuries and something needed to change.

Took him 3 years and the owner looking to fire his ass in the summer for not handling the injury situation ,for him to do something about it. He finally understood that his butching days at Milan has come to an end.

The ref against Roma will be the frenchman Clement Turpin.

2D and 2L for us when he referred. Time for the first win.

I think being relevant again after 10 years of misery is a strong boost for enthusiasm. Also for most of the last 4 years we've been playing an exciting brand of football that attracts people to come and watch the games.

Inter are thinking about selling Thuram and replacing him with Jonathan David

Whatever they get for Thuram is 100% plusvalenza and they would end up making even a profit on that exchange with Thurams current MV being 60M. And J. David has the better numbers than Thuram anyway, even though it's admittedly French league. It's a wise move for a debt riddled team.
