These coaching names are pretty underwhelming, imo, and not sure they're upgrades over Pioli who nevertheless must go. Von Bommel is the latest on the list and somewhat intrigues me but know little about him as a coach, what system he uses, etc. I prefer 4-3-3 like Sarri and Motta practice and against 3 at the back. As for mercato, if an offer of over 100 millions comes for Leao I would sell. His inconsistency is maddeining even though he's very talented but not sure football is his top priority over rap music or modeling. I would pursue Chiesa at LW whose contract expires in '25 and not happy at Juve, particularly if Allegri stays at juve, and could be had for probably 30 millions or so.

Motta or RDZ would make Leao explode. They will both demand a CF that can have synergy with him instead of Giroud who just asks for floated crosses and can’t run from deep, press or create space with movement. Giroud limits Leao into becoming a pure one on one machine, and Pioli encouraged this.

We are in desperate need of a coach like RDZ or Motta that teach players how to play as a team. They both have the same principles that we have built on and the same shape. It’s an evolutionary step, not a revolution. They know the language. They’re both growth decree (if it’s extended).

They are by far the best two choices we can make.

Van Bommel i'm not sure off. The is the first time he is actually performing as a manager at Antwerp. All the other times he got fired.on the other hand he is the one who gave Antwerp their first title. Gallardo intrigues me. He is done and won everything with River.
