If Milan were leading the table and inter chasing Pioli would still obstinately run with this tactical approach. This has been the infuriating aspect of his management particularly in the last two years.

He has never utilised any of his squads to full effect and seemed incapable of learning from errors tactically this and last season, I hope the players throw out Pioli’s tactical script and just play their instinctive games.
