The context of that take was questioning how Conceicao would approach the first 6 months. Try to keep up Khalid.

Think he is referring to the midfielder Nico Gonzalez for Porto, brother
Yeah just went back and saw the quote. I meant it as a response to the Gerry opening his wallet part and the previous discussion about Darwin

THIS is where I'm skeptical, because Leao isn't an inverted winger. He can't come inside from the wing and shoot to the far post, he excels at going outside.

Where I think Leao can become a killer for this system is as an outlet on the counter. Milan has had the best counter-attacking duo in the world for 5 years now. Theao. Go back and watch the Liverpool game from the Pioli era. Theo, Leao, Rebic, and Brahim tore through that Liverpool side at will.

How many games have you watched in the last month, serious question.

Because ever since Leao came back into the starting lineup Fonseca has made him cut in the middle, he's actually been floating around and not hugging the line very often in the last 5-6 games.
Pioli also did that with Leao initially during Leaos growth period first couple of years, it was later during Pioli era where we saw Leao just hugging the line.

We do have a great team set up for the counter.

"Tore that liverpool side at will" - this never happened. We had 2 shots all half that game and we scored after Liverpool missed like 20 chances in the first half

Pulisic, Deers, fofana are so good man. We need more midfielders like that.

Let me collect their jerseys before they become bums by 2026.

Is anyone willing to pay 100 million for lameo?

If things work out with Conceicao I’d imagine we’ll go full throttle on Jonathan David.

David was the star striker for Fonseca..

Confused Thinking GIF

But we will now go all in for him after firing Fonseca....to be honest that's the type of shit I expect from our management

If the report about Gerry making the Fonseca-Conceicao decision on his own is true, I think we will see a revolution pretty soon. Maybe even in the winter. The guy is an arrogant cunt, but he can surely see that the club is on a negative path and this management is not doing a good job. None of Furlani, Zlatan or Moncada are sure to stay beyond June and I feel that a lot of the fodder they brought will go with them like Merdueze, RLC, Tammy, Emerson, etc. leaving a lot of space for many new players.

It's like that Girl that gets beat by her boyfriend but then after he buys her flowers and says 'I Love you' one more time, she's like "oh he's changed"

There's no revolution coming. Gerry is very happy with his staff and how they're performing financially. He doesn't give a shit about the performance on the field until it affects our finances

We need to stop thinking we’re smarter than everyone else and can win without a proper CF. Morata isn’t it, and Camarda is at best 3-4 years away from being a dependable starter, and that’s if he pans out.

Just buy a damn CF even if it costs €80m, we can afford it.

… is this a dumb bit?

Dude has 14 goals in 19 EPL games this season, 2nd most in the league. He’s only 24, and since he turned 18 and left Molde, he’s played 240 games and scored 224 goals.

I don’t think he has the skill or flair of past elite players, but he’s basically a goal scoring machine
This is Milan.
We refused Benzema at his prime so for sure we can do better than Haaland :fp:

25 years hard Labor :o
i’m serving my 23 year sentence myself :)
Much of it is turning out to be hard labor. I never imagined we would go 18 years without CL title.

I was more optimistic during banter era than I am now - maybe just getting older and jaded

I stopped watching american movies about historical figures ages ago, they are always portraited larger than life and I can't buy into this shit anymore, having grown up + I'm a history buff.

I watch lots of stuff, too many things to wrote here & I don't wanna spam this thread. Check out Korean movies, early 2000s, Memories of Murder is on my all time list!

Agree about Jack, damn, we'd have lot to talk about... If you're planing to visit Croatia, let me know!
In 2006 my brother and I visited Redipuglia near Trieste where my grandfather is buried in the WWI military cemetery and then took a train to Rijeka that at one time was called Fiume and was Italian.

In 2008 with my ex g/f stopped at Dubrovnik from Venice during a Mediterranean cruise, and I thought it was gorgeous.
Travelling is one of my favorite things to do but I think those days are over now.

Emerson Royal is so fucking shit it's mind boggling we're not trying to keep Calabria here. We didn't upgrade the position at all. Maybe Serg can get the best out of him, but he's limited beyond belief. All these lineups without a true DM and Emerson at RB make me want to gouge my eyeballs out.
We got Jimenez bro.

But the affect is right around the corner. Missing out on CL would be huge blow and there’s a serious chance of it happening this season.

... which is inevitably going to happen if performances on the field don’t get us into the CL, for example. Right now, that’s looking like a very big "if." And Iets not start with decreasing revenues from sponsorship deals, merch and ticketing.

Gerry might be a lot of things – he’s the owner of a multi-billion-dollar hedge fund, after all – but stupid isn’t one of them. Refinancing the vendor loan, essentially turning it into a standard loan just to buy time until the stadium issue is resolved (which has dragged on way longer than expected), was fairly surely never part of the original plan.

I’m certain he’s far from "very happy" with how things are going right now. I don't think we'll see a revolution this January. But summer? If we're not in CL, I'd definitely take some bets there will be one.

When Milan showed interest for Bondo Monza had a much better player in Rovella, a young DM now playing great at Lazio and called up to the national team.

It's what pisses me off about our management, the way they ignore Italian talent like the plague. And the growth decree excuse is getting old because Rovella's salary wasn't much but for a couple of extra million, (if that), we opt for less talented foreign players. Not saying that Rovella or other Italians are great, some are good to very good and we miss opportunities because of our extreme cheapness.

In all interviews and conferences nobody ever asks why we have the fewest Italians in the league and why we don't go for them with the exception of Tonali. They don't all suck as some here believe

Rovella was on loan to Monza from Juve. Now he is on loan to Lazio. In transfer market his current market value is 25 Mil. Bondo is like a 2 mil player.

If Milan was considering spending 25 mil on Rovella, there a lot of other options in that price range they could also look at....
